Z32 is the model number of the 300zx from 1989 to 2000, NA means normally aspirated (non turbo) but I've not come across Z06 before so I'm stumped on that one mate!

I discovered, when I got home from the Boat Meet yesterday afternoon, that I had sprung a coolant leak which had sprayed onto the fan and thus covered the engine in nasty orange stains. Thankfully, on inspection this morning, it looked worse than it was and turned out to be nothing more than a split top rad hose (damn these unreliable NA's ;)). I made a quick call to Chunk as I know he has loads of bits kicking about his garage, but he hadn't got one. But, he then rang Slick Pete for me, who had got one spare, and then went over to him in Nottingham and picked it up for me!! Alright, he was going over that way anyway, but he then came out of his way this afternoon to bring it over to me, and it is now fitted on the car, thus resolving the problem. So, big thanks to the Chunkster (that'll be a few more car washes in the bank for you then bud!) and also to Slick Pete for the hose - drinks are on me at the next meet guys :D. I love this place :)

Do it!! It made a huuuuge difference to my old TT, definitely worth the risk IMO. Then if it breaks, fix it :D ;)

I used black Hammerite too, and it hasn't altered a bit since the day I did it. Would obviously recommend a good clean up of the calipers first using proper brake cleaner, just to get any crud and grease off.

I recorded Vroom Vroom on Sky+ and started watching it the last night. Needless to say I didn't make it past the 20 minute mark before deleting it! Oh, and Chip Foose is God :bow: but the pranks can be very annoying, but Overhaulin' is still my favourite show on telly. But the new female presenter (A.J.) is fitter than Courtney :tongue:

In fact, this is how all the local meets started in the first place! We used to have fortnightly meets at the Bulls Head on the A47 near Earl Shilton - other regions heard about this and it grew from there. As you say, the Leicestershire area is quite a busy one for Z owners, so I for one would be up for some more regular local mini meets, but perhaps at a different venue as the Bull's car park is not that big. My suggestion would be The Mill on the Soar on the B4114 near Broughton Astley (postcode LE9 6QA - http://www.millonthesoar.com ). The food and bar are very good, there is a good sized car park with three separated sections (thinking we could take over one bit) and it's dead easy to get to. Any more suggestions?

We had snow too, but it pi$$ed it down with rain before and after so it's all gone now :( Earlier in the day, we had a hailstorm the likes of which I haven't seen in years!! The hailstones were at least the size of, say, peanut M&M's - and they fookin' hurt when they hit your ears!!! So, the day started with wam sun, then got windy, then cloudy, then a freak hailstorm, then rain, then heavy snow, then more rain with some thunder and lightning. And I was doing my shortshifter in the sun - at first! Bloody weather :wack:

I reckon insurance companies are a law unto themselves mate, and just pick prices out of the air depending on what socks they're wearing on the day. Or something like that :wack:
