Probably won't be long though, knowing you ;) I have been a Z fan for years but could never afford one. After I went self employed and started earning decent money I promised myself I'd have one eventually. I kind of forgot about it for a year or so, then a black stunner came up local to me (my old TT) and I was in a position to buy it at the time - so I did!! After owning that I realised I didn't really earn enough to do what I wanted with a TT (big power costs BIG bucks :(), which is why I changed to an NA and was lucky enough to get the '96 I have today which, again, just cropped up at the right time for me :).

My step brother has the old C70 rag top, and I think he's ordered the new one to replace it. His old (well, current I suppose) is nice but absolutely every single part of the interior is the exact same shade of dull boring grey - a real style let down IMO.

Wow, what a weekend!! Before you all ask, I didn't gamble and therefore am not rich!! There was a big Nascar event on there this weekend so all the casinos were absolutely RAMMED on Saturday and Sunday - so no table betting for me - and the slots are pretty much a waste of time. Besides which, I'm not a big gambler anyway :tongue: Anyway, in the two days we were there (not long enough considering the 11 hour flight there!!) we walked fookin' miles, saw a world class show called Le Reve following a 5 star Cantonese meal (yum!). Then, on the Sunday, we took a stretch limo ride to the airport, where a helicopter took us around Vegas, out past Hoover Dam and Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon where we landed on a plateau and had a champagne picnic!! What an amazing site that was, really impressive. Anyway, I did see 2 Z's :D - both shorties (yay!), both NA (yay!) but both targa top (boo) and both red (bigger boo ;)). Completely stock in every way, but one was real tidy and the other was a total sh1tter! I have also discovered that the new Mustang is about as rare as a Ford Focus (i.e. common as muck), but I do quite like the new Dodge Charger SRT (pic ), not bad for a big yank saloon. I think I can safely say that that was the best birthday present I have ever had, and probably ever will have. Thanks for all your messages in my other thread (going away thread) - and yes, I am the luckiest guy in the world :tongue: :nana2: :dance: :D And to top it all - we're off to Orlando in a five weeks for our 'scheduled' holiday!! :tongue:

You won't believe this - I am the luckiest guy in the world! Some of you may know, it is my 30th birthday on Saturday (11th March) and I have had a feeling that the Mrs has been arranging a party or something for me. Well...... I pulled up at home in my work van last night, and she came rushing out of the house to tell me that I won't be needing my drills as I won't be working on Friday (today). Also, that I only had an hour to get ready!?!? So, I promptly showered and got changed, then we jumped in the car - along with two suitcases - and set off to who knows where. After a long journey down the M1, round the M25, and onto the M23, we ended up at Gatwick airport! We checked into the Hilton (a very nice room too) and went for dinner - all this time I am still none the wiser as to what's going on. We got up this morning and headed towards the South Terminal and she got the camcorder out and pointed it at me. We walked around the corner, towards check in, and she told me... ..... WE'RE GOING TO LAS VEGAS!!!! :dance: :bow: :dance: :bow: :D :D :D Vegas is my FAVOURITE place in the whole world, and I had no idea that anything of this magnitude was planned for me. I am so lucky to have a wife like Jacqueline, she is my best mate, and the most beautiful person in the world to me. I don't know what I have done to deserve this, but I know that I am going to have the time of my life! So, I'm afraid I won't be at Da Pod on Sunday as I thought but, stuff you guys - I'LL BE IN VEGAS!!!!!!! Laterz dudes!!!
