  1. So are we going to the pub yet?
  2. ianl replied to a post in a topic in Events - UK
    I'm still here
  3. Ha ha , all 3 of those threads cracked me up when they first appeared and every time they get brought up again. Indianzx gets my vote as i actually met him at a meet, and it took me about 4 hours to click that he was the same person that got taken by the fiesta
  4. Have you checked the power steering fluid level?
  5. I use them, get mine in homebase, i have 1 in my slicktop and 2 in my landrover, the largest size they do, fills a tray every week or so. Doesnt work to well when it gets very cold out
  6. i'm sure the committee would make an exception for you :) i was about to say something similar though here's my dirty hobby...
  7. problem1 was new garage and upload image buttons didnt appear first time i loaded the page problem 2 was images arent on my hard drive, managed to use the upload image url and the properties from my photos in car of the month to sort it
  8. the instructions say copy and paste? i've copied my old garage , but it wont let me paste it anywhere also cant find a create garage button on the new garage i dont do computers :(
  9. Bird, you also have a pasword set, so we cant see your pictures
  10. idiots guide please i can see the new garage no idea how to create my garage in it no idea how to copy and paste as you suggest
  11. That fuse feeds side lights , rear lights, internal lights, dash lights, fog light switch, high /low beam change over relay, and some other stuff. Its possible that a blown bulb can blow short circuit, but unlikely, so may be worth pulling a few bulbs More likely frayed wire shorted to chasis, melted wires shorted together or water in lights or fuse boxes I would: Pull the sidelights and check wires Pull boot trim to check rear light wires Open up the pod with light switch to check wires Look for water in interior light and side light etc Chech both fuse boxes for water or burning Take cover off steering colum to check wires on flasher stalk But before any of that i,d try one more fuse
  12. When i was looking to buy my vert, back in 2006, i found one with 3000km on the clock, and it looked that new. It was however that poo brown that they only used on verts , so i can see why the previous owner was embaresed to drive it more
  13. can you make a poll thread with possible dates so we can vote for when we are free?
  14. I,m interested. No idea when i,m free though
  15. Behind the clocks, small heatshrink wraped or small box with 4 wires, 2 attached to clocks , 2 spliced inline with incoming cable. Unless the speedo only goes up to 120mph in which case you dont have one
  16. We used to come over in the summer for a meet, back when people went to them
  17. Maybe i phrased it badly Yes, You can get a master key blank cut from a valet key The ribs down the key are different, but the edge that gets cut is the same
  18. Yes, the cutting is the same for valet and full keys, but the blanks are different
  19. I may b e spoilt as i play with pro projectors at work, but i rekon you will be disapointed with 2000 lumen
  20. Lcd projectors give blacks that are actually grey, and whites that are blue DLP projectors give much better colours but cost more Projectors and lenses should have a throw ratio in their spec. Something like 2:1 for a fixed lense or 1.8-2.8:1 for a zoom lense Take he width of your screen and multiply by the ratio to find out how far away your projector needs to be, ie 6 ft wide screen, 2:1 ratio, projector 12 ft away. A fixed lense projector has to go where it has to go, a zoom lense can go where convenient and be zoomed to give the right size image Very long throw or short throw lenses can reduce brightness more than a standard lense, very short throw lenses can distort the image Make sure it is hdcp compliant if you want to show blue rays White paint will work, but can be too reflective, you could buy some screen material and make a frame for it
  21. I used to have one of these. Fitted it with clear silicon. On a hot day the silicon ran down the dash
  22. 1. I would 2. No idea
  23. This thread is so open to abuse
  24. Personally, it takes more than a cup of tea, maybe i'm a bit fussier than some I need at least a biscuit too - - - Updated - - - And who you calling old?
  25. And having failed with her, he then invited bird for a quickie behind the marquee
