done two rotations later and marks line up but the belt lines dont. does this matter?

ive seen this close up and although the wheels do need a bit of work it does look good! chris popped round with it the other day to give me a hand with mine and i had a good look round and those wheels like much nicer than in the pics

got all the top pulleys aligned. but cant see any markings on the crank to line it up with anything! does anybody have an idea for me? thanx mark

you could always refurb them in yellow and put them on my car m8 lol:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: i think yours looks bit like knight rider m8 and you should get the red light for the front

yes there are lines on the belt but need to know where they go to match up with the pulleys! and where to line the pulleys up too

can anybody help me by telling me in plain english how to set the timing on my zed? i got the belt ready to fit but need to know so i can line everything up! looked at a tech page and now i am totally confused!:confused: all help very apreciated thanx mark

cheers now got to try and work out how to set the timing and put new belt on. had a look at a page to set timing but it wasnt very clear and now im none the wiser lol

sorted m8 put torque wrench on it gave it a tap with a rubber mallet and off it came. was expecting it to be much harder.

yeah thanx m8 once i finally work out how to set the timing i can start to put it back together!

got the cambelt off now. its got 20 teeth missing where it sat at the crank!! that explains why only the bottom half of the engine was working lol

how can i stop the crank moving when i want to take the pulley wheel off? as soon as i try to turn it the whole thing spins! i would have thought could do it by putting it in gear but its an auto so that wont work. any ideas people? thanx mark

got the radiator out now what are the oil pipes that connect to the radiator? any ideas?

id leave as is m8 and just tint windows was considering tinting mine(might have to get it running again first though)lol
