uno check fluids when i went to his house couple of weeks back. he added some for me

just been checking out the gearbox on my auto have found that it pulls away when its in drive like its in 3rd pulls away in 2nd when i put it in 1st it locks as though its in park so really have no idea now totally :confused: please help?? :headvswal:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

that sounds like good thinking to me not sure i'd want to drive it all the way to warwickshire though cos its burning way to much fuel

but checking whole system would be best i think. start from scratch knowing if anything else needs sorting

drivetrain mostly! i got gearbox probs galore :rofl: 1 minute it has no 1st and 2nd then if they work i have no 3rd and 4th. its an auto by the way. thought it might have been box dead but gears are there just not all the time(sorta like lights are on nobody home kinda thing)

everything :rofl: its got gremlins! have done single self diagnostics and it does come up wit errors then it says no errors at all. so am thinking maybe it time for a proper diagnostic to be run on it to set my mind at ease. mark :cool:

was thinking that myself was also wondering if it could be more electrical rather than mechanical, as seems all gears are there but just not engaging. used car tonight and had no 1st or 2nd gear but did have 3rd and 4th!! very strange:confused:

gearbox still playing up:headvswal trying to cover all angles before getting another box its an auto. all the gears seem to be there but now it wont go into 3rd. after going up and down with the stick a couple of times it changes up but then if i stop or slow so it goes back into 2nd it wont change up again! any new ideas would be great thanx :rant::rant::rant::confused::confused::confused:

i drive a lorry and the view from the cab means that there should never be any reason for an accident. i can see better and further down the road than any other vehicle and have better all round vision through mirrors. trouble is too many drivers get complacent and dont pay enough attention to the road or whats going on around them(this is what causes accidents) also lorries from other countries often use the third lane which is illegal in this country because they are not restricted to 56mph like we are. maybe it all boils down to people being idiots!!!!
