  8. What??? The Fto is a lovely car!! I used to have one and would own another one no problems. The mivec is the one to go for and once an induction kit is fitted the noise is unbelievable especially when the Mivec kicks in between 6.5k and 9k rpm:D , best sound i have heard. Not to sure as to what problems to look out for so no help there mate sorry, I am sure there is a guide on the FTO owners club site and they are a helpful bunch. I think these are lovely looking cars and sound great reasonably quick 6 and a bit to 60mph just a shame it is FWD. Cheers.
  9. Soz thought its probably already been spotted :nelson: Couldnt beleive it when i saw it!!

  13. Thanks for making me feel better :headvswal now after I have replaced these then another two are going to go :headvswal :headvswal bloody car, what are the other two like to do or is it a trip to a garage :headvswal . Thanks mate will give Mike a shout for the pipes as i used the car today and there is a nice jet stream coming out of the pipe shooting directly at the bulk head. Cheers Ant
  14. Yep I have and its a great phone, shame it cant have Tom Tom on it though but to make up for it I have the full TEam America film and episodes of Only Fools and Horses on it
  15. Thanks alot mate really appreciate your help, can see where they go now :hyper: , might give it a go this weekend, just have to get the pipes now. Thanks again. Ant
  16. Spooky I think these cars work in sync :( . Thats what i was worried about its easy enough to take the top part off but i cannot see where it goes too. Think i'll take a look tomorrow and see if i can have a goor it will be another garage task for me  Cheers Ant
  17. Thanks mate, Bugger, i have attached 2 new pictures to hope that this makes it easier to work out. Cheers
  18. :headvswal :headvswal Can someplease please give me the good news and say this is an easy job to do  . I have had the baggins bypass so water has been fine for a few months but now a different water pipe at the back of the engine has a slight leak I can see the water dribbling down on turn off :headvswal . I have used SPRAE's engine by numbers picture (thanks SPRAE hope you dont mind) to highlight the area of the pipe i mean, I can undo the top jubilee clip easy enough as the pipe in question is next to the back of the plenum if looking at it it runs to the left then goes at a right angle downwards. Hopefully it is an ok job but how long is this pipe or is it a big job to replace. Thanks everyone. Ant
  19. HKS SSQV are the best mate   never heard a better noise from a dump valve.
  20. Hello mate, By the sounds of it you did the same as I did and knackered the temp guage :headvswal I went out and bought the PRO temp guage and could not get a good reading with it, I was advised to stay away from the electrical guage and go for a mechancal water gauge, so i took my one back and got the auto meter mechanical one and spot on it is i might say, and comes with a pale silver face and the numbers light up blue. if you need these then i will send you a link as they are so cheap and work perfect plus i got the water temp and also boost guage for about 35-40 all in BARGAIN. :hyper: Cheers Ant
  21. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48182 Think this is a great deal mate, and prob not to far from you. :)
  22. Hello, Sorry I have not been following this thread for a while, the ones I sold to Krsmayo as said before about cutting the springs I also had to lube the pistons up. To do this you have to take them off the car :headvswal then unscrew the top and remove the spring and washers if you used them, now get a strong metal object that will fit in the end of the dump valve and push the piston out of the dump valve completely, if this is very hard then you have found your problem, with one of mine I had to get the hammer on the end to budge the piston out, if you think about it if you cant push it out how can the pressure of 7-10 psi push it up and down?? now lube up the internal walls of the dump valve and all around the piston, I used normal grease for this and no probs on mine (Krsmayo any probs??) then keep sliding it in and out until you can virtually push with your fingers. Then put all back together refit and hopefully problem solved and now you can enjoy the woooosshhh. :hyper: Hope this helps, Ant
  23. Thanks guys, I didnt want to start a long discussion just on all the other threads I searched it was so all over the show. I have decided that I will go with 10/60w and see how this turns out. Thanks again. Ant
  24. Hello all, Firstly I do not want to start any mass-debates or anything just a quick opinion from those in the knowledge on which to use. I have always used Millers XFS 5-40w and am now due an oil change so was looking at the Castrol RS 10-60w would this be a good move or shall i stay using the same as always?? If it makes any difference my TT is running 12psi and has 67000 miles. Thanks again, Ant
  25. Sure did mate all safe and sound thanks alot for your effort with this.
