  1. How ya doing Mr ricey :D You will have to pop round with your Z, hows the gear box going ?, my engine is coming out in a week or 2 and I have a spare z block if you want to see where things are and what you don't need
  2. Right now I got where your at :D They allow for that when making the prop, you give them the dead size from gear box to diff flange and the prop is made to accommodate enough movement on the splines to still allow the prop to move as the rear goes up and down. Sorry for me being a bit slow on the uptake
  3. so how did they make one from my old prop ? You can tell them any length you want within the limits for maximum length of a single prop
  4. You have me completely confused as to whats the same length ??
  5. They fit new UJ's when they make the prop and its still cheaper than getting one imported from the states, mine has no wobble noise or vibration and also has a different flange on the rear so it fits the 200sx diff
  6. How cant you make a one piece prop from the original ?? you tell them the length you need you cut off the gear box end leaving a short pipe and cut off the diff flange end leaving a shoth pipe, throw away the bit in the middle, send it to some one like http://www.propshafts.co.uk They put them on a new prop balance it and send you it back ?? and as for the 1200 I hope you had a good laugh
  7. Or you could just send your old prop off to one of many prop shaft company's in the uk and ask them to make it into a one piece of the same length I got mine converted to one piece and uj's renewed for not a lot, shop around
  8. Auto box wont be worth a great deal unless you can fins some one who wants one, a cheap dead manual zed would be your best bet then you can sell the left overs afm £100, front calipers £100 etc and you can work out how to take it all apart on the scrap car
  9. I hope you get sorted and the car running as it should be, sometimes you just have to cut your losses though as its easy for the red mist to descend and loose sight of where your going. Most folk sell things as are but you always get a small minority who who spoil it for the rest and its not nice when you pay for something and it turns out not to be quite what was promised :headvswal
  10. All right girls and boys step away from the hand bags. You can not simply reset an ecu to map it to bigger injectors, if it were that easy half the tuners in the country would be out of work. If something was not sent complete or as described I would say your right to air your views too. Have you thought about pulling the injectors out again and getting them tested, I know it would require more money being spent but would sort out where you go from here ?

For 160 you could have a one piece prop made and do away with the center bearing
  12. And if your going to push the engine hard the last thing you want is a flywheel breaking up
  13. Timing belt striped a few teeth ?? hope not though
  14. Cheers, I will txt you and see if any one is about.
  15. What time is the car fiddling likely to go on till ?, I would like to pop over if I get finished work in time, but I also have no idea where you live lol, I know where the wessington is though
  16. The valve that controls the idle is at the rear right of the plenum it has 2 connectors, one which is used when the air con is on and one which is used under normal driving to control the idle it looks like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190144752244
  17. Id does not sound like its the cas itself thats the problem more like a problem with the loom or the main relays
  18. You need to be able to here the injectors clicking whilst turning the cas so thats where you need to start, if you have no injectors you will probably have no spark. Does the fuel pump prime when you first put ignition on ?
  19. No help to you at all but mine does the exact same, its not an auto, I think mine is idle control valve or temp sensor related, some days its fine next day its a pig and cuts out when you come to a stop, good luck finding it and let me know when you do :wack:
  20. why cant they give out serious jail time for just carrying a knife ? 10 years for starters just for having it and 30 years + for using it, there is no incentive to stop them doing it its getting beyond being silly now. Poor kids.
  21. A zed will not take you to bed though will it, mind you it wont take you to court either so your better of spending your money on a new turbo
  22. Unless your wanting to go over 600hp I can see no point in the expense required to go single turbo, It will be laggy and you will need to spend serious money on the engine to support the power at that level.
  23. And use proper hose clips for petrol not jubilee clips, they deform and nip the pipe and can cause leaks
  24. I went to look at 2 z's a good while back, when I got there it turned out they didn't have any z's, complete waste of time :smash:
  25. Petrol hose and or clips to and from the fuel rail could be 1 reason, the hose I used started leaking whilst I was driving, lucky for me I decided to stop and investigate, had a small fine spray of petrol right across the top of the engine, had the turbos been up to temperature it could have been the same as yours.
