ah yeah just seen it im on about the det sensor ive ordered both so ill let everybody know what the results are and if the det sensor is same part no and if the plugs fit the injectors..i hope so as the price of the 300zx tt stuff is shocking... it would acctually make it possible to change all the plugs and sensors reasonably cheap

cheers rich i was thinking that as i was looking on the .nz ebay site and a knock sensor was 30 quid and on .c o.uk was 129 quid else where but was advertised for some other common 3.0 v6 nissan so i guess its a case of chop and change .. my harness just seems so brittle im concerned that all the swapping out of components will get me nowhere and ill have to change harness .. and knowing my luck it will probably be a vacuum pipe or something

well pete i guess mine is similar i would not floor it at a roundabout as it would stall i have to ease the throttle . i am currently changing all plugs and connectors to fuel injectors and coilpacks and putting new o rings in aswell i think i will run it then see how it is as im not getting any errors on the ecu ..if still crap ill change all the vaccum pipes and fuel filter and pipes if that dont work im sellin it LOL so watch this space a beautiful z for under 2000 coming soon if it pisses me off anymore lol

go to your nearest refrigeration company they should have a leak detector gadget .. i used one once on another car it found leak alright it went nuts all pipes had been repalced but balance bar o rings were shagged just like the hoses the o rings go flat and loose it if car had a plug change id check there ok if sealant has been used get it all of and get new o rings... i also found in my supra turbo the O2 sensors caused this symptom aswell and it drank the juice.... my z is doing a 55 but it runs poor aswell and ive found poor seals on balance bar so getting new o rings tomorrow.. these cars are a nightmare lol

i am in the process of making a nice computer rig for the z using a 3 dongle a small 7" touch screen into an amp with a 100 gig h drive . So it will effecdtivly be a fully functional itunes gps internet and media centre ..all running of an invertor an old p4 lappy and the drive cam be changed as its an external 100gig with 80 gigs of mp3 .. once i get it sorted ill make a list of kit and post it up here ..the cool thing is its on the net aswell and can acces 300zx.co.uk from the z itself..lol it also has autodata 2006 installed and soon when i get the software it will have the diagnostics built in for the z .. im just debating wheather to remove the whole vent system and sterio and putting screen a bit higher up ... bluetooth aswell ..in fact it is such a simple setup i dont know why people bother with head units anymore a laptop base unit and a 3 internet dongle big drive and your laughing.. i love your pod thing though i can imagine somebody actually using the ashtray of there 300zx can you

it was just a suggestion as g3 is 30 quid a bottle your probably best if you dont have any buying a new one

Hello i own a computer repair company how lucky......you are.. first goto the search command and type run in the run command type MSCONFIG .. in the appalet startup at the bottom it has a disable all tick box tick it and then go to the services tab and tick hide all microsoft services once this is done tick the box disable all .. ok now your almost there .. reboot the computer and see how it runs.. you will find it rapid compared to normal.... however you have stopped all services and programs from starting so some functionality will be lost .. make sure in msconfig you have your virus scanner running i suggest AVG as most others have a resident shield running constantly if you have mcafee get rid of it also avast is terrible for hogging system and norton... if you find somethings arent working just use msconfig to switch things on and off use your common sense when looking at the program names and start the ones you use.. also you could right click on desktop and go toproperties and diplay and run classic also check your swap file ill explain this later if your still having probs after stopping all the shite running ... hope this helps that will be 40 quid please cheers.. also you could get ccleaner from download.com and run this it will clear of alot of junk aswell and if you want a super fast browser download SAFARI by apple use this instead of ie7 3 times as fast and looks cool .. i need some balance bar o rings help me
