with a chip boost jets etc would a standard exaust not cause a problem !!! dont you need a bit of free flow with such boost and fuel !! could this not cause awful back pressure in turn causing detination upon flooring it....

just found six injector plugd and six coil pack [plugs for 34 delivered cool eh..

i see what your saying the loom is rubbish very brittle i feel like pulling the block and doing the lot at the min but i am going to try a few more fixes then if no luck im going to cry for a while then commit the z to rewiring .... if i can fix it ill be happy but not confident in the car .. i would like as you said a whole new engine bay loom not second hand a brand new one ... i wonder how much work it would be to make one i might get one and remanufacture it if it would make some cash ....a custom loom all in red with a red wire that glows through it to light up the bay lol

the det sensor has 2 wires even albert einstein couldnt get tha wrong lol

the coil pack thing is most def best being put into one place away from heat .. in a coil manifold of some sort somebody meantioned something which sounded well worth the 150 quid .. the det sensor coil pack and injectors need addressed with good cheap sturdy solutions for all those who have streched there budget just to get a z .. i rekon there are many whom cant really affords all the plugs at 14 quid a pop with p&p i mean thats about 180 quid just for the 12 connectors for injectors and coils ridicoulous ....then the det sensor aswell the list goes on ..... so a few dollars and some tinkering would be perfect for the budget zedder...

i will report back as i think everybody would be happy with a cheap fix even to renew just to rule out the connections for future fault finding ....this is what i do best so i will most def find a good solution to the dilemas of the z and its electrical nightmare//

laptop modded of course an invertor an amp a laptop base unit with svga out a screen of your choice a wirless usb keyboard , a 3 or t mobile dongle for the net and your off i was wondering if i hard wired an eprom programmer to the ecu i could change the mapping of the z in the cap park using a battery cut of switch and making sure the invertor had a live feed from battery ...wow i must be mad but it is doable

what exactly you wanting to do stevie ?? it dead simple to get your car ONLINE ....especially if you make it static in the car... its all cheap enough why carry shit loads of stuff about when you can have your car fully loaded with laptop technology for less than 300 quid sat nav autodata music video ,porn addresses phone book skype and msn ...lol and 300zx.co.uk of course.. and even facebook if ya sad..and lonly ... you can even browse your friends reunited dating stuff while in the doggin area ..lol

good spotting i never read the last line i tell you what i have a small endgraving tool that will be spot on for modding the connector i got it from the boot fair for 2 quid lol its got to be work the small amount of work rather than paying stupid money for them . and i rekon if you used a little heat sealant for good measure it would be a snug fit and water tight, im definatly ordering a canny few

just been looking at some larger injectors and the plugs are same as on ebay for 2$ with fitting in middle not offset .. 50 quid for 6 injector plugs !! more like 6 quid then the postage ..
