cheers jimmer the compresion tester i have uses the same clip as i use on my air tools so i should be able to pressurise the clyinder with out to many problems :hyper:

might be an mr2 there is one on ebay for nealry 10 grand that looks like a ferrari and in the pics its looks very close to one but im sure in real life its tiny lol

so remove all the plugs when its warmed up then insert the tool do i keep cranking untill the readout stops getting any higher or do i just do say 10 revolutons ??

i have a timing gun is the timing mark on the bottom pully on a zed and do you adjust it with the cas ?? also i still have a series 1 ptu could that be causeing any of my problems ? and also its got a manual boost controller :(

hi guys thanx for the advise stu is sending me a bung to test for leaks and i got my self a compression tester today so hopefully after i have used both of these things and fixed any leaks and fingers crossed get good test results 2 new turbos and i will be well away again :)

helloo today i got a compression tester that was reduced from £99.95 to £40.25 bargain :biggrin: so after work i just had to try it looked at the zed and thought nah **** that shit so i did the test on my n15 the results where 137,135,136,134 dunno if thats any good but it sounds ok to me :whistling: also did i do the test correct i removed the leads and 1 spark plug at a time and cranked the engine over untill the digital display stopped going any higher ??

i pay i fiver aswell no recipt but who wants 1 really ???

hi guys i have been told them things by different people on here from november 2008 i have replaced what i said from my first post i just would like toget it done over the next few months so its running 100% matt

right I need help please I am still having problems with my zed I have been told 1 I need new turbo's 2 that my piston rings and oil scraper rings have gone 3 I have a boost leak 4 I have a vac leak 5 my valve stem seals have gone 6 my oil was old and knackerd since I have had the car I have replaced the knock sensor both pcv valves and all the pipes the engine oil and oil filter air filter that's all I have replaced to date the problems I have are under hard acceleration I have black smoke and also blue smoke on tick over I have white smoke my head gasket is fine as I don't have any oil in my water and no mayo on my dipstick I do get mayo on my filler cap but its not being used at the minute so id say that is just condensation I no that some of the smoke could be from when my pcv's where shot so what do you people think it is its been off the road for like 2 months now and I want to use it matt

ok as some as you know i have been working on a fiat punto 1.4 turbo for a few weeks so yeasterday the owner came over and replaced all of his vac pipes as he had white smoke aswell and now he has hardly any do i need todo the same with mine ??

hi has anybody got one of them bungs that you put in where the afm goes that they would be willing to post to me so i can find my leaks then i will send it back with some money for a drink and the postage that you paid your end ???? i just carnt see the point buying one and maybe only using it once matt

ahh ok i will have todo that the problem i have is that the passenger side one works fine but the drivers side does not work so i linked it from the passenger side do you no what 1 from the ballence bar does the drivers side ???
