  2. As above quick diagnosis to confirm what i think. On pressing the buttom for the drivers side window i can hear a relay in the door but the window aint moving but the passenger side works fine. Is it a possible window amp or motor? Marty
  3. be lucky if it reaches a grand but i wouldnt pay anymore eve if it was just to break
  4. yes if you want a family saloon the zed was made to be a sports car not a people carrier :)
  5. Ive got an import SWB TT Manual for sale shortly too oh and a NA Auto shorty :)
  6. Ive seen this come up on pistonheads a day or 2 ago its over priced IMO as said before rust on rear arches, sills, front suspension mounts in engine bay in fact the whole car not many UK ones that old have survived the rot unless they have been worked on so checked for filler in the areas mentioned. Oh check paint code on the front panel too in engine bay should be reading EH7 if its pearlerescent yellow
  7. engine and box out of the top however if you dont need the box out you can leave it in saves time :) Plenty of answers if you do a search
  8. Congratulations Jane do you want Zedward at the wedding :) ive got a few spare zeds at the moment anyway
  9. sold as seen i think you should tell him to go to another garage sounds like they are pulling a fast one unless the tyres have been run flat then they would be damaged. If they havent then there shouldnt be nothing wrong with tyre walls. Think it is a classic case of a garage trying to take advantage not many genuine ones out there anymore
  10. over priced usual trader without a clue like that locking garges advert that has gone up for any zed parts same guy that was selling manual conversion kits and said he would fit it for you lol
  11. Lot of garages wont put on second hand tyres anyway i have to use a back street garage if i have some part worns so that may be his problem. Also a garage will tell you anything to get you to buy new tyres off them i think that is the problem here
  12. Plenty of threads about oil on here i use Millers CFS 10w40 its the only oil ill use
  13. Its Nissan not Neesarn. I wouldnt use air tools on spark plugs either
  14. Well ive used copper ones on my zed and no problems and bend it by hand its not hard
  15. Oh yeah to change the spark plugs on a GTO you have to get the inlet manifold off! Mitsubishi didnt really think about things like that. Turbos you can do in situ though :)
  16. no my zed was still quicker and that was only running about 320. I sold the GTO after 3 months of having it and thats when i got my slicktop :)
  17. You mean GTO? I had one manual TT was pretty quick however what i found was the owners and community just wasnt the same when i was trying to get help on the forums. It was quick but i dont think as quick as my TT zed was. In fact now thinking yeah the UK spec is a GT the import is a GTO Also not many websites for modified parts and brand names that seemed to be associated with GTO`s i wouldnt use on a Jap car
  18. Happy birthday mate :)
  19. try do it yourself on here :) http://www.wheelsnext.com/preview-wheels-on-my-car/
