  1. i think 5 spokes suit the car best as well :)
  2. you can hook it up to your handbrake as well for launching and yes it does cut spark to the cylinders. Was just looking at wiring one up to the zed and found instructions on the US site that just does not seem right. They have the rev wire going to the crank angle sensor 120 deg input and the spark wire going to the crank angle sensor 1 deg input. That just seems odd to me. Oh and on the lines of drifting my slickie is pretty light as it is being a 2 seater plus NA subframe so solid back end :)
  3. Cheers Graham id be interested when they are fitted
  4. Ah righty ho as i dont have abs on the slickie to fit any type of traction control would be a pain as i would need sensors on the hubs and id like to learn drifting at some point so no good for me :)
  5. for those that like their carbon fibre a guy in the states is making up these :) http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=190724
  6. Finally an answer for everyone to find out what turbos you have here are the part numbers courtesy of Mike at MJP :) For JDM cars: MT RH 14411-40P01 / -40P03 / -40P04 MT LH 14411-40P11 / -40P13 AT RH 14411-40P06 / -40P08 / -40P09 AT LH 14411-40P16 / -40P18 There are various supersessions, dependent on age of car.
  7. its launch control not restriction therefore you can be foot flat to the floor and max revs would be 3k for dragging until you drop the handbrake then full rev limit is restored
  8. is that a 3 row Greddy on there Dan?
  9. yes alot of people have said that with not really knowing anything about them. People with them fitted on zeds as well have had no problems and been using them for years and because of those different views i really dont want to discuss that :)
  10. yes a hammer. give it some knocking it will free it off :) all you get is the 6 bolts that end
  11. i like your thinking
  12. Ok so autos are .54 and manuals are .63 so i found this to work it out :) http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums/general-tech/628-turbo-size-r-trim.html This should help people figure out what they have
  13. Its an amazing feat however people seem determined to over shadow it with there own personal views of the guy just so they fell like they have made a point. Is it more annoying that they have actually done it and you wish it was someone else that you liked that had done it? Missing the point of it i think in favour of expressing views just to be heard
  14. Oh gotcha so how can you tell if they are manual or auto?
  15. shorty on 17s here
  16. ah i do like the look of those. Have a play with this site till your happy :) http://www.wheelsnext.com/preview-wheels-on-my-car/
  17. i think 17s just look way too small i think the different in that inch is huge when you look at it
  18. i have a set of turbos here now they have A/R 48 on them and that is the same as everyone that has offered me tubs so far. Maybe the yanks are working on different measurements as usual. I havent seen a manual tub in a while so i cant remember the number on the side
  19. just had a look at that and they have auto ones down as 54 not 48 as we know it? It does seem that everyone has auto tubs lying around but not manual ones
  20. left side as sitting in drivers seat is carbon canister right side is EGR goes to the solenoid down right side of engine iirc
  21. cheers i never looked at the manual ones to remember but im sure i have some manual ones in pieces
  22. Ok so ive looked all over for this detail and cant find it so just to confirm once and for all for everyone what is the AR on the side of manual turbos? I take it Auto ones are AR 48 but so far i havent found anyone with manual tubs to confirm what the AR is on them Marty
