Well i know id rather have a manual than an auto and i think that would go for the majority so therefore is it not right that a manual would command a higher price? I dont think there is many people that would buy an auto thinking it would be cheaper to convert themselves as people really cant be arsed on a 20 year old car and rather buy one with a manual box in to start with. The only people that would will be the ones with zed experience and a place to do the conversion. I t5hink it is already starting to go off track as im sure Pete expected with people saying what if the auto box was brand new. Well in that case you have just wasted however many thousands in a new box that you will not recoup in a sale.

Update to this looking to ship the NA engine to Scotland anyone used any pallet comapanies that they can recommend?

I have a 95 3.0 Limited edition Jap import Toyota Hilux as well with a 2 inch lifted body :) Carts all my stuff around in the back and ideal as has a towbar too to move the cars and bike about.

Been in my mates S2000 and rev really high however they are really cramped inside which put me off them as thought i would have one some time therefore 350z for me NISMO version :D

I think progressive controller is a great way to go it just gives alot more tuning options and tweaks. That plus ive got a system to install capable of a 250 shot so kinda need to start low on the percentage :)

Ah yes of course i get ya now:) How do you have the Nos system activated is it on a continuous delivery at max trottle with a micro switch or button operated? I have a maximizer control unit to be able to set it up for length and percentage of delivery and all sorts so am interested as to how you have yours set up :) Thanks for the info Marty

Thats some good figures for some stock parts well done. Couple of things have caught my eye though is the JWT ecu a replacement chip or full ecu? I plan on using their filter kit on my build as i think they do some great kit. Also i was under the impression that with stock tubs and stock injectors anything over 16 psi is getting dangerous as you will start detting due to the the injectors not being able to supply the fuel. As well i didnt think Nos was illegal in the UK Ryan just hardly anyone uses it due to increase in insurance and not warranting it. If it is illegal then i better hide the bottles in my boot install :D

After looking on US ebay they are not as crazy on prices as i thought and one in particular that is a runner on a 440 block needs a bit of work but is an absolute steal and i do love fixing my cars up anyway so i side project i would say :D

It would help to know the step by step from buying and getting the car picked up from someones house right to the car being released in a UK port for me to get picked up. With the sales on zeds being so stale at the moment im wondering if its better just to break my spare shorty up. As i have put a few nice bits on her that i could either sell or swap onto the black shorty. Im not looking to drum up any interest in selling the car really just need to decide what would be best and whether i would make over a grand in breaking. Ill add the for sale ad below as i cant link threads on this laptop. I have been considering selling my spare shorty as the summer is creeping on and is a good time to start selling. I do have the room to store her but do not really need this zed. I bought her as a non working project on the side and got a bit carried away with bits that i did that are listed below. The engine was knackered so used a 96 NA engine from Bobgenies old zed when he converted to TT i believe. Series 2 seats were put in both being electric costing excellent condition no holes £80 grey alcantara interior £150 Engine replaced with a 1996 engine from Bobgenie £200 18in wheels put on £150 Plan was to respray and is currently in grey primer TT front bumper added Car has a Monza rear spoiler No tax or test as had no reason to put on the road may need one or 2 tyres from what i remember but the rest should be good. (I would even consider putting it through a test to see that it was all good) Here is a few pics but is now in primer stored near Cambridge in a brick garage. The outlay i have spent on this car is approx £1500 so i would consider offers taking that into account. If not i have room to store in my lockup in Lincoln and will respray and put on the road to sell in the region of 2-3k. I am back in the country in June when i will be moving the car to Lincoln so will be available for viewing then.
