I saw the sale this morning and was gonna start a similar thread but it wasn't working on my phone. I haven't read it all but im with Dan as I think there should be a certain amount of courtesy from buyers when others have an intrest and dibs. I remember someone on this thread had their knickers in a twist when they were asking about an item and I then said I would have it. On that occasion I backed out of the buy wasi wrong to do that.

Don't you just love zeds problem solved. The brown connector that sits next to the fuse box normally that powers the ignition coil relay had popped out partly where I had the fuse box out the other day. Now time to crack on and get ready for the pod on Sunday

Sorted this today it was an open circuit from the connector under the steering wheel to the relay so had to route in a new wire what a job it was

Well replaced the relay with a known good one and still no joy but i did get distracted deleting the AIVs and replacing the wings.

Ah yes will get back on it tomorrow in my theory it seems to be around the steering wheel area but could be wrong. Whats the windscreen place as well in Lincoln Baz as im gonna need a new one.

yep done the fuse all good didnt check the relay though. I figure someone previous was too lazy to fix it properly so they just bodged a switch into some new wiring.

The horn on my black shorty has been bodged so just trying to sort it. Where does the circuit wires run as at current im getting nothing down at the horns and the yellow wire going into the steering wheel has nothing either. A bit of help on tracing the path would be nice if someone knows the circuit :) Cheers Marty

Also with it gone you can get to the top 2 gearbox bolts from the top of the engine making it easier to remove. That plus less vac pipes to leak and a tidier engine bay

you would be looking about 370 i would say it all starts to get hazy on figures but i would hope closer to 400. SMIC vs FMIC is still a big debate and seems to be down to personnel taste. for SMIC Ashspec ones prove to be awesome. I myself like the FMIC look and have a Greddy IC but its all your own taste whether to keep the stock look of go agressive with the FMIC showing

i know you can pick up decent clutches for around 200-300 iirc names like Exedy or RPS. flywheel well seen them go for 100 second hand was one not long ago. you would get good gains from injectors, ICs and a remap its the next limiting factor. But price wise its up to you what brand you go for ebay 150 to Greddy for a grand ish iirc. Injectors about 400 i think. just all depends if you go new or whichever. Tubs well there is all sorts that people are fitting so it depends on cash and if you want some chinese turbos spinning round in your engine for 50 quid. Im keen on my quality items so i thing the turbos i have for my engine are about 4k or something daft.
