  1. yeah the 328 sport is slightly lighter but not much lighter than m3 the only difference between them is there engine as the sport has an m3 chassis.....as for the weight of the zx i have been mislead as i read it was near 1800kg lol thats made my day knowing it doesnt weight that much cheers
  2. yeah the evo is unreliable if not looked after apparently but what cars arent? ive heard the vanos valve timing thingy on the evo can be troublesome.as for the weight difference-maybe i read it wrong but ive had 2 328i sports and they felt like they weighed sod all.Do you know the actual weight of all the zx's all the figures ive found are different or confussing lol
  3. ive driven a couple and i would say the e36 m3 evo smg has the same pace as a twin turbo auto and the box is a lot more precise but the one to have as always is the 6 speed evo they are monsterous and have 320bhp as standard and weigh about 500kg less than a Z! To the guy who started this thread e39s are awesome,i havent been lucky enough to drive an m5 but you wouldnt be disapointed e39s feel so modern and well screwed together, why not try a e36 m3 evo 4 door- rare and half the price.im an ex bmw nut by the way but im been converted to the way of the Z these days!!
  4. cheers for all the info lads,i realy want to keep this as original as possible and little things like that bug me!i will be ordering of that guy at MJP cheers berrica
  5. yeah i love the colour its the reason i bought it, its sooo rare!shiny 18s ay il keep my eyes open for them,it needs some decent alloys to set it of,im not bothering with any major body mods i dont see the point as these look stunning as it is! and to phill82 the standard jap clocks goto 180kmh which is 120mph.the previous owner just got a cheapo ebay 120mph dial which is a cheap way of converting to mph but i dont think its acurate atall!!112mph is the jap limit i think but these clocks go to 120mph then it cuts of the power(which is annoying)but by the time it gets to that limit there is little on the roads that will catch it,the way it gets there is brutal indeed!
  6. lol yeah it was a bit ;-) that was a demo of the speed limiter!!i could always say it was in kmh!!
  7. yeah i think its them ive just noticed they sell them on zcentre.co.uk they are not cheap but itl be money well spent.
