Would any one be up for a meet on Sunday 19th August ? Have attended the Classic Car Show at Chatelerhault Country Park for the last umteen years, mainly with my past yanks tho. Asked them if it would be possible to have a few application forms sent out to me, and explained about the club,, and they offered us a club stand !! For those thats never been, there are 2 fields. One for the Max Power brigade, and the main field, in front of the Country House for Yanks, Classics, Ferrarris, Harleys, Kits etc, etc. Badmonkey attended a few years back just after he bought my old Zed, and it got plenty of attention ! ;) There are food stalls, beer stalls ! kids rides etc. Last year they had an acrobatic aerial display with old by-planes. Over 45,000 people attended, I believe. Cars dont need to be showroom, just a show`n`shine day really. Good excuse for a day out in the Zed, put some names to the faces etc. Think I have some pics of past shows, if I can find them ! If any body is interested, let me know. Would probably need about a minimum of 6 to qualify for a club stand. Lets get the best Jap car up there and show em off ! :D
  3. Cheers guys !! Will check it out tomorrow and post back the results !! Alan..........
  4. Very nice Sandy, like them !! Alan..........
  5. Can anybody shed any light where this pipe goes to, or comes from ?? 89, T/T, Pipe comes from a small actuator type thingy up in the drivers side, rear of the engine bay, near the bulklhead. When engine is switched off it hisses for a good 5 secs and then dies. Engine appears to be a little uneven as well, connected ?? Gave the engine bay a wee clean up, so would assume I knocked it off perhaps. Alan...............
  6. Fitting an after market air filter, amongst other things, and was wondering what to do with the oval pipes in the pics ?? Leave them, remove them blank them off, or what ?? Its the 2 pipes, oval in shape that feed the airfilter box. Last pic was the end of play this evening !! ;) Alan............
  7. What about the big one behind and below the intercoolers ?? The one covering the sump etc ? Would the air get taken in, pass through the intercooler and then channel through the bottom half of the engine, sump etc and pass out the rear of the engine, behind the saddle. Would it not be more beneficial if that one was removed and allowed the air that was rushing past to actually hit the bottom half of the engine, sump etc ? Alan............
  8. Scottish greetings as well to both of you ! !
  9. Changing over the stock T/T front bumper for an aftermarket one, as well as doing the timing belt, water pump etc. So as the front end will be in bits anyways, was wondering this. Would leaving off the underneath engine trays help in cooling at all ? Maybe let the air flow around more, or are they better re-installed ? Just a thought ? ;) Alan....
  10. Yup, youre right, it has !! :slap: Just seen the scary pic and went straight to looking for my size of tyre ! Alan.......

New rear spoiler just fitted, and doing the new front bumper, cambelt, water pump and sideskirts in the next few weeks. Will be mobile and up for a meet then. While we are on the subject, would anyone be up for a Sunday afternoon show`n`shine, about mid to late August ?? Got summit in mind, but would have to make enquiries if anybody is interested ? Alan............
