Never thought mate, you could have jumped aboard and travelled in with us !! My 16 year old neice was hanging out the window with a Vid Cam as I was sitting very sensible at 70 mph. Andy passed us with the V8 and the blower at full whine in excess of 130 just outside Musselburgh ! Will upload the vid soon. Get sorted for next year as its a great show. I know they aint Zed pics, but interesting car stuff anyways. East Fortune Museum Of Flight, just out side Edinburgh hosts this every year. Entitled Magnificent Machines, incorparates everything with an engine, from cars, bikes, aircraft, traction engines etc, etc. Loads of stuff to see as its not just a car show, as you have four aircraft hangars to browse throo as well. Had a good turn out from the Jap guys this year, mainly Subaru and Honda with a few Mitsi GTO`S etc. A Zed appearance next year would go down really well I reckon !! Anyhoo, a few pics, and if these are in the wrong bit, Mods, feel free to do as you wish ! Scotlands fastest Pontiac was there as well ! GT Factory are the only ones to go for. Badmonkey on this forum got them imported a few years ago at the cost of £1200 if my memory serves me right ? **** to fit, but in his defence, they clear the wings, dont wobble, open up enough to allow plenty of access and are very, very good quality. As to whether they suit or not ?? Everybody to their own choice ? If you like them and want them, **** everbody else and get them ! This Jock offered his 2p`s worth, which aint worth much I know. Loadsa stuff wrong with this country, and none of it is a quick fix. If it is a gradual decline, then it will be a long time to improve. Doesnt matter race, religion, creed etc there are faults on all sides. Blame the parents ? again not always the case. My mate and his wife are both sound people, but their son is a bit, erm wild ? Parents to blame ? sometimes. Work with a guy who dont give a toss, as long as the kids are out of his hair. Great friend of mine, Afran, born in Pakistan but been in Scotland for 22 years of his life is one sound guy ! Jap car daft. Government policies ? Minefield ! But tainted slightly when the evil/scum/degenerates, delete as applicable, are sometimes rewarded/protected/feared, again DAA. Personal view here is the country as a whole is maybe just a wee bit too soft/lenient ? Whats the cure, havent a clue as every case is different, but there is one thing for certain, Great Britian is no longer great !:( Overheard one of the young lads at our place discussing getting tooled up for a Saturday night. His advice to a newcomer was, and I quote; If you gotta use the blade, stab him at least 10 times. If you stab him once and he dies its murder. Stab him multiple times and its Manslaughter.
