Pre 240Z this very pretty car was Japan's take on the MGB never officially available in the UK , these Datsuns were raced successfully in Australia by Peter Brock in his early campaigns with Datsun , many were raced successfully in the USA and this example came from Texas , Stunning mini rear fins full complement of instruments and best of all a Nissan 2400 Twin Cam replaced the original 1600 engine to give it a lot more punch , professionally engineered this car is in show worthy condition and outstanding in every respect ,doesn't take up much garage space and you won't bump into another at the next meet . We had a bench in remembrance of the wifes mum,who was killed four years ago by a careless driver. Was needing a wee spruce up, so got tore in, and my mate made this plaque for us. We could have went for an old fashioned brass one, but, well, the auld yin was a law unto herself. Stainless steel, etched, gloss black, signwritten and lacquered. I reckon she would have approved ? Not a bad complaint I suppose ? Work is absolutely chocka ! Averageing 20 hours O/T a week, never work a Sunday though !! Have had my stats, ie, May days, Easter etc, but yeah, one day ! Daughter is coming home from China for a visit at Xmas, not seen her for nearly two years !!! Her Korean partner is also coming, so no more days off upon my return until December !! Yup, one day ! Thats all I have had off this year ! Since Xmas, I have only taken one day off work. Easter Friday I took off, as we were off on the Monday. So, 18 days off work, and away to here tomorrow morning ! 30th wedding Anniversary pressie for us, and a 25th wedding anniversary for the brother and sister in law ! Excited ? Aye, just a bit !
