im about to fit a new viscous fan,to do this i need to remove the shroud surrounding the fan , ive removed the upper screw below the rad cap, the one on the left is directly below the upper water hose!im doing a collant change anyway so that can come off.Do u need to be under the car to sepparate the upper shroud from the lower,i know its a dickhead of a question but i think its clipped together hope u can help cheers greg :)

cant you just use some black silicone to fill round the edges easy to remove if you need to get behind :)

just done a search for stealth ECUs and comes up with apositive site looked up nissan 300zx from listing and gives hp gains of 25-30hp,why dident the car have a boost controller aswell but still want the smoke Q answered please thanks greg :confused:

just did an ecu check comes up with code 55 great!! did left&right o2 sensor test fine!! 1/was going to post some pics but cameras not working,basically on the ecu itself theres a metal badge about 6"long saying STEALTH is that normal or does that mean its been uprated. 2/theres a loom coming out of the ecu not connected to anything just lying next to it WHY and whats it for. the reason i did an ecu test was a general thing really,and ive been getting alot of smoke on start up.and oil build up in the backbox i thought turbos but its only on start up once been for a 5min run its gone and doesent appear at all,boosts all the way up and pulls like f**k,guys is there any way of 100%comfirming its turbos or couid it be pcv related :confused:

i did want to get a r33/gtr,gts but looked at this forum and wanted a z straight away,this website has the best bunch of people of all the forums imo :p which is important with a technical car like the z,so skyline if there wasent a zed

viscous fan mate open bonnet with engine running pull on throttle cable and listen if u hear a whining from the front of the car near the fan theres a possibility its the viscous fan coupling,ive got a whinning noise from there fitting a coupling in the week try that ;) cheerz greg

they never do come with a handbook,tyre pressures i think are front 32psi on the back 36psi,thats what i have them at. Does it stay at 1500rpm perm or does it drop when cars warmed up,try cleaning throttle-bodies most people will say that!look in zx-tech for how 2. for engine oil look up a previous thread as everyone has there own choice over which oil to use. geaerbox oil use redline mt90 i think i dont know if autos use differant gearbox oil all the best

i think its ultra red as its called in the colour listings and if you look in my profile you can see it,not one company near me have a proper red colour its crazy its as bad as getting optimax for the z be cool if hes got some bud :D

in the whole of my area,i cant seem to get hold of any red vinyl for my interior,doing some in black at the mo and want to finish door cards&glovebox in red. If anyone has a material shop near to them,or a place i can get some il sort u out with a few ££quid im after about 2sq mtrs in the same red as the colour of my car ;) really apreciate it if u can help greg :bow:
