funny you should bring this up i did mine at 1hr on the rears each 2hrs on the fronts each i did mine with foila tec red lacquer and looks lovely well worth the time involved probably do it quicker but i did about 5 coats of lacquer 1/clean callipers with brake cleaner and remove all residues 2/use fine paint brushes be careful not to paint discs and pads 3/apply 1st coat and it seems the brush picks the lacquer back up! but when 2nd coat is applied,with paitence it starts taking shape. 4/to finish sand over the nissan logo with fine sandpaper for a smart silver finish bling. top tip dont sand logos until paint is fully dry like idident dodo :xxx: greg ;)

Another chap bought one for 3k I know and proceded to take the piss out of how much mine cost until it blew up and he couldnt afford to fix it one month after buying it but you could always put a cover over the car for 2yrs save up the money for a rebuild or turbos!plus the mileage stays the same :D

cheerz bud nissan gave me a refund on the fuel filter so i goes to a simple motor supplies and they get one off the shelf within 2mins nissan need to go to z school 4sure

i see it as the cheap ones are dogs! where as ones that maticulously looked after and had money spent will go for a lot more.Also the owner of the z will get what they want pricewise its a shame the value of late is taking the piss by desperate sellers IMO ebay for example takes the pi** and personally woudent degrade the z to bargain hunters on ebay! there like vultures :rofl: ebays great! just s**t for z stuff,unless u want a watch with nissan emblem proper bo :rofl:

coz i dont know you bud but surely 140k is just run in apart from tubs you see m3 or m5s with this mileage and there just run in! vg30dett is a strong engine and well built i thought :rolleyes:

also this is the fuel filter they have given me can anyone match this number up here as follows A640M-41BMO-SA I THINK Z31 but not sure

is the part no.. the same for a uk and a j-spec for fuel filter and also mines a TT so me thinking an N/A would be a smaller filter due to less fueling or is it the same size!its definatly a z31 fuel filter they have given me as theres no listing on the side of the box saying z32 what aload of :xxx: they are! thanks for the replys me mateys :)

just been out to fit new fuel lines from smithy removed old filter to replace with nissan oem filter from nissan and its for the z31 its tiny compared to the one i got :mad: phoned them up and they were full of excuses and that they shut in 15mins :rolleyes: so now i have to wait til tomoz to replace the filter when i needed to drive it tonight useless :xxx: i wish i went to halfords even the aprentices would no more than nissan any one else hate nissan uk

cant see how either would effect performance of the z but would rather effect the cars brakes ive had strange things with my car the fuel needle keeps dropping everytime i boost it :D without sounding rude maybe u need to get the car checked by an expert cos by it sounds the car has been played with by a novice! and for all you know there could be things effecting performance for something totally differant.The fuses blowing could be due to a bad earth and bad wireing hope it gets zorted ;)

Also these new 200mph trains actually burn more fuel per person than a Jumbo Jet. i woudent like to see the emissions at mot time on that one :rofl:
