  1. bought an apexi rev speed meter of chris@getGReedy and was wondering if anyone else has one there exactly the same size as the boost controller and the air fuel controller.advice please! 1/a diagram for wiring in to ECU speed sensor, rpm, ign, ground wires so any colour diagrams for these associated wires would be much appreciated 2/where to mount the unit also as i want it so i can see clearly whilst driving!obviously where light from daytime wont effect viewing display 3/Iv got a stand to mount the unit on also!again where can i put it any advice what so ever would be great,as i dont want to take it to an auto electritian thanks alot greg
  2. i did have a problem with my TPS as i tried ajusting it,with no voltmeter DOH? and when driving you could put your foot down and no acceleration then all of a sudden i nearly went in to a brick wall as all the power came at once and i wasent ready for it if this is happening whilst parked up,then i dont know.Worth a check on the TPS voltage though mine was reading 0.87v which is a tad bit high.isent it meant to be between 0.4-0.5v ;) greg

  9. hi mate your ECU will be ajusting to the new air properties hence reason for slightly high idle give it a couple of hundred miles and should settle :) mines the same since apexi induction kit fitted at billing ;) maybe a water pipe connected under rad was knocked by the force of something hitting it plus with hoses 10years old tend to perish have you done an ECU test by lifting up the passenger floor mat undoing bolts and checking for faults via codes maybe a sensor knackered worth a check ;) hope it aint serious mate greg

  14. sounds to me as if the release bearing is on its way out as mine does that could be the release bearing making contact slightly with the disc hence when clutch is dipped noise dissapears due to bearing making full contact but i aint no expert but sounds a good explanation ;) and crunching maybe clutch on the way out all together so new release bearing clutch etc greg
  15. My other half gave birth to our son after 21hrs!he was upside down in the birth canal and it was touch and go whether she had to have a CS! but luckily he turned round and came out the normal way also she wanted it as natural as poss without any epidurals gases or such like, dont get me wrong its each for there own and if a mother has pre eclampsia or is in fear of the whole pushing thing then fairplay aslong as mother and baby are safe&well good luck also you will all be fine! daunting but you will be a proud dad for sure :D all the best greg
