not expensive at all mate considering the parts cost the best part of £250 waterpump! cambelt! cambelt tensioner! belts! water hosesx2! gaskets! thermostat! if your changing the cambelt you need to do the above aswell,or should i say your best of doing that
  7. marcus take the fookin rad out then check for leaks bud
  8. i dont suggest running any extra boost without a new chip otherwise you may cause detonation or damage to the engine itself, fit a safe chip like jwt then up the boost! much safer

  12. think so,it wouldnt be the arch that needed modding it would be the whole suspension geometry :)
  13. not exactly but i know someone with a mustard colour m3 e46 power increased no limiter,he reckons it will do 175mph no probs performance wise slighty quicker than a z handles very well with all that modern traction control fuel economy not sure but again depends how you drive,if you can afford a m3 e46,then fuel shouldnt be a problem if i was in to buying a fast motor and i had some money then id go for an smg m3 apart from getting common, there isnt much bad you can say about it,id go for it! seems the best buy apart from an m5 being a saloon :) good luck

if you have an auto then i think you have to remove starter motor stick scredriver..carefully in ring gear, then use a long leverage bar or ratchet with 27mm socket, good quality one,and lever until bolt is removed, use a gear puller and wind it up until pulley comes off crank, some use rubber mallet it dont work :( i have a manual so i put it in 5th gear remove bolt job done :) another reason to buy a manual cheers greg

power steering cut old belt off :D see in pic slacken off tensioner bolt under ps pump theres 2 one bolt gives movement of ps pump the other just clamps it in place then theres a bolt going through pulley wheel 17mm IIRC you will need extension to reach through hole obviously :D wiggle ps pump until it moves left to right, remember to make sure there is enough play in the runner loosen bolts until enough slack is gained, fit belt repeat procedure until tight sorry if iv baffled you its dead easy once you figure it out,i had this problem when i did it click on pic for full details
