i like mine! slightly better accleration,and revs drop quicker there is more engine noise through the midrange not a bad thing though :)

you can pick up manuals the same price as autos although there are fewer of them,people put an extra few quid on the asking price and yes the film was based on a 300zx and the 300zx holds the top speed record i think it still remains un beaten :duffer:

im no mechanic mate i just got stuck in now im doing waterpumps brakes pulleys LOL front brakes are one of the easiest jobs on the z ithink aprat from change the interior bulb,beware the 2bolts on the back of the calliper are tough sometimes use a long breaker bar to loosen them,turn the wheel so you have plenty of room to work and get leverage

jack up front remove wheel nuts remove 2 large nuts on back of calliper i think there 14mm or 17mm carefully slide calliper off disc,the metal pipes from the callipers are weak make sure you hang them up out of the way,as you dont want the brake pipes to snap,iv done it! :headvswal use rubber mallet tap back of disc until loose remove and replace repeat same procedure,making sure everything is torquered,especially the bolts holding the calliper,otherwise warped discs are on the cards hth greg
