i have checked chris all ground locations are fine live as you know is plainly for the ilumination for the backlit so it would be very difficult to short anything out what il do is borrow someones and see if theres works ok,if it does then it must be the gauge :( il let you know me ol mate :)

anyone got any clues to why my brand new autometer gauge isnt working,i thought the best way to test is to touch the sender wire on a ground connection,and the gauge needle will flicker,but mine isnt any ideas :(

doesnt sound like propshaft bearing,more possibly wheel bearing/hicas perhaps do a search using the search facility at the top right of the screen and welcome ;)
