Power Steering
tried topping up the PS fluid ? if yours is an import, then a speedo convertor may be fitted this can commonly cause the steering to go heavy, this is due to a poor connection from the speed sensor, check wires from speedo convertor,if the problem still persists after, check or removal then start to think something else, speedo convertor is located under the hood that goes over the clocks speedo etc,2 screws. There is a lot of similar problems other people have had,use the search facility above to find further info

merry xmas bud have a chilled out one :D- this zx on autotrader is nice
you think the outside is ok in your opinion :nelson: it has a portable swimming pool on the rear or pond for when it rains, and rhubarb and ****ing custard, with noddy appeal for an interior  whoever has a tailgate tub should be shot IMO there cack, the best part of the z is the rear qtr view and front end why anyone would change either is beyond me rant over- Another HICAS question
The hicas operates at certain speeds from the rear wheels,a slight turn of about 1degree is all it is,which on an already worn setup wouldnt be noticable, replacement tie rod ends and bushes can perk up the setup, some do away with the hicas and fit a hicas eliminator no the light wont show when in use,if the light comes on then either PS fluid is low or an intermitant fault with the plug,switch- this zx on autotrader is nice
 - calibra turbo or rover 220 turbo tomcat
2 are ford :nelson: bags of shite gsi is ok for a chav and a 318i is gutless - Who's sick of Christmas?
Here here- Finally got me car back
12lb but unless your dropping the back of the gearbox down your not going to be able to torque it,the saying tight or to ****ing tight works in that situation you can test the shifter before you put it back together- Woops
more like he cant fookin drive springs to mind- Nitrous Oxide
http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/NOS-65.asp they do nos systems and installs ;)- is my engine broken?
yep, forgot them your right there always in a state- Finally got me car back
that wouldnt be a worn clutch more to do with a leak from the diaphram on the servo/booster and or the rubber boot around the booster as for the z clutch being heavy in general,no there not unless its heavy duty type the rps max is heavier than stock,as said some prefer it with the clutch booster blocked or removed, not my cup of tea but hey if it floats your boat, another problem with the manual is the support plate above the linkage, the rubber mount commonly breaks, have seen this a few times,so the linkage drops and makes gearchanges difficult, have had to make a few brackets for temporarily usage until a new or better one is purchased as for tight gearchanges as said if the bolt that passes through the linkage is to tight then it will make changes difficult,or with the aftermarket shortshifter the nylon bushes supplied are terrible and should be changed for nissan oem type IMO another reason why you wouldnt want a heavy clutch, ever been stuck in traffic on the m25 with and your leg is fooked due to the pressure needed to be applied sod that - is my engine broken?
if the leak is directly at the front it will be one of the following water pump alloy water pipes new sealent required 2 short hoses radiator itself or hoses if at the side turbo water feeds overflow bottle if at the back heater matrix hoses under plenum hoses, bypass to be needed common caulprit turbo feed, directly above bellhousing at the back,PITA to do :D HTH greg- is my engine broken?
1st thing is do a compression test if the cars turning over ok,then that isnt a problem check engine health, allthough this wont tell you if your HG is faulty 2nd if you have spark then you can rule out PTU check maf conection and CAS plug remove the fuel line and turn car over check fuel flow is present once car has started do a cylinder leakage test on the radiator,if it turns out ok then fix leak and then car should be fine, the temp gauge isnt to be trusted in any case if it rises it normally starts to creep up in temps excess boiling point 100+ so - What are you doing Christmas eve ??
