  1. you must have just been unlucky and got a bad batch. And just becasue they say tein doesnt make them any good, their dampers wear out very quickly, especially for the money you pay

  3. those rods what is called spherical bearings, it is a moveable metal bearing in place of the original metalastic bush, so no bush is needed ;)

  9. what he said, used it once for about q week, never again, the sludge thats left when you flush the cooland system is unbelievable. i spent 10 mins with a hose flushing the system till the water wasnt thames brown :rofl:
  10. i wanna convert as i just prefer manual, although my auto skyline was great to drive, it didnt feel as sporty as my cousins manual one :slap: and auto will do for now, and a conversion will be done in circa 6 months time :dance:
  11. :rofl:its not the rears, its the fronts i think he means, and its not a wishbone, its a lower arm :D and last time i priced a new lower arm and wishbone it was 175 plus vat ( diff car though, 200sx) so i think this may work as cheaper

    these are not bad cars actually, easy to tune aswell, so not surprised TBH. Once you have done a few mods, i doubt he would be able to keep up though :cool:
  15. fitting yourself is virtually impossible mate, you need like 2-3 tons of pressure minimum :smash: Although it can be done with a good bench vice, some big sockets and an extension bar, but i wouldnt recommend that :rolleyes:
  16. yes you can just change the ball joint, any garage with a press should only charge around 20-30 quid to do it
  17. the box is duff :rolleyes: so getting another one to keep me going till next year then getting it converted to manual :dance:
  18. i dont know the breakdown for it, but its getting a load done, box change, full service, FMIC install and suspension. pretty sure he said 750 for the lot, obviously im supplying the box, fmic and suspension though :smash:
  19. yes, the only was to do it is mark the value below 35 quid, and send it as a gift. :smash:
  20. when the car goes to get the box replaced, its getting a major service, belts, filters and pumps :)

Paul, i had already bookled the car to be collected, and the guy was on his way, so had the call out charge to pay for, Marc at the Garage was trying to source me another, but nothing was available in time, either that or they wanted 550 plus VAT :wack: I was supposed to be getting it from bazz, but he text me at 11 last night to tell me that there wouldnt be anyone to let him into the garage to get it collected in time :smash:
