Used to love that when I was a kid! I did use Irish casserole steak mate :thumbup1:

I tried a packet of colmans rich beef casserole today and was surprised by how nice it tasted! I wouldn't normally use a mix as I prefer making my own but this was really easy. It bakes/steams in a roasting bag. All you do is chuck the beef, an onion, some carrot, 150ml of water and 2 tbls of oil, into the bag tie it off and cook it for 1hr15mins. It cooks the beef as well as a slow cooked one and has a really good depth of flavour, my only complaint was that it needed more gravy! I'll chuck in 200ml of water next time. :)

I've decided to pull my finger out, so I'll be going to JAE this year as well, managed to get Jane to promise she'd come so would be great if Dave came as well..:)

If you can I would keep it mate, as you say it will be worth a LOT less as a non-runner needing a new engine. It'll come into it's own once you get sorted and move to a farm :)
