Did my clocks today
cheers folks :) No mate they are the z1 rings, these are push in ones that are lipped and so tight you don't need to glue them. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_23&products_id=1440&osCsid=d344521a6243673da5c456de7128bfb8

Filling the spoiler holes
How did you manage that mate? I tried to put some tape on the inside but I can only reach the holes on the end. lol

Filling the spoiler holes
I've taken the old spoiler off and am in the process of smoothing the boot out ready for my 99 spec spoiler :) So far I've sanded the holes back to bare metal and punched the centre of each with a cone shaped wedge. The holes now have a nice bowl about 1.5mm deep around them ready for fibre glassing. I was going to fill the holes with Dinitrol Fibrestar as you don't need to use matting, thought that since I haven't done any fibreglassing before, it would make it easier :wack:. The problem is that when I apply the filler an air bubble blows out of the hole and it won't cover :headvswal What do I do to get round this?

After a program for managing my zed build
Anybody, know of a windows xp program that will allow me type in jobs needed, parts for job, who's doing it (me or a garage) What I need to do, and when. I'd also like to be able to use subcategory's section i.e. Interior, rear subframe etc. Finally It would be great if I could print out work cards.Just for me, not commercial :) I've got an old version of MS Project but it's far to complicated for me? Any help would be much appriciated, Cheers Dave

Hi folks.
Welcome matey :) I've found that third party on zeds is dearer than fully comp! My mate thinks it's because going fully comp makes the insurance companies believe you'll look after it better. Whether that's true or not I don't know.

Pictures of Fuel tank as promised. I've had a good poke around at the tank and all the rust on it is surface rust only and nothing that a quick sand won't remove, the tank is solid. I would recommend that you also reseal it with waxoil or the like. Your welcome to come up and have a look if you like :)

99 spec spoiler
When I bought mine I was told that you just line it up to what you want. I'm putting mine so that the rear of the spoiler is in line with the end of the boot. Then it's just a case of making sure it's equal on both sides. Hope that helps mate :)

Urgent advice needed: E.U. Warranty for PC Monitor...will it stand for a UK buyer?
I think you would have a very good case i.e. "Why are you viewing the UK as separate to the EU, when the UK is a FULL and very large (if not largest) contributor" The EU is supposed to allow member countries to trade goods easily and on equal footings to each other. That said I'm NOT a lawyer so I can't said for definite :)

Go for them mate. If they turn out to be needing repaired and acer won't honour it, you could always tell them (as you've said) that the United Kingdom is a major member of the EU. Pretty sure it would stand up in court! Chances are the monitors will be fine, but it is a risk.

Not sure about the warranty, you could email acer and see if they will honour it? Pretty sure you're right about the dead pixels not being seen as a fault, unless there are loads of them!
