  1. As above, Cars been sitting for a while and the discs have gone rusty (as they do) I know that a quick drive will clean them but is there a way to stop it happening in the first place?
  2. He means that decatting causes extra pressure on the turbo seals and they may well leak if they're on there way out.
  3. can't taste any worse than a rustlers :hang:
  4. concur, they are great pads.
  5. great mine will be on its way soon too:tongue_smilie: Just need to work out the steering wheel cruise buttons now mate :winkiss:
  6. Thanks for that mate but mine are 5 stud.. It's going to cost me £493 quid to get it all fixed :cursing:
  7. explains why they think they know it all and yet talk total *****cks
  8. just pm'd you mate about a totally different subject..lol
  9. You could always email bernie and ask him who's turn is it to win!
  10. Took my daily driver in for its MOT today. Was expecting nothing to be wrong as it's running as sweet as, Even told the bloke it should sail through. Got a call from the garage to say it had failed on 1 broken rear spring and two bent alloys  I hadn't noticed any problems with the wheels and the rear end has never made a sound when driving. Car is only 4 years old and this was it's second MOT. Two vauxhall 17" SRi alloys is going to cost me a bleedin' fortune
  11. I used to be on a well known vectra b forum and they were good at answering questions. The vectra c sites are pants and haven't answered any of my questions! This site is by far the best I've been on
  12. Welcome to the club matey :)
  13. Probably just burning off moisture, should clear after a while.
  14. Nice one, just goes to show how much they mark them up by.
  15. Following on from the bumpers following swage line thread, I was wondering if there are any sideskirts that goes with the standard '89 spec TT bumpers? All the ones I've seen so far seem to be made to match aftermarket bumpers.
  16. Cheers bud, I've got them sitting on a bench though so can't do that. Is it just a case of checking for movement other than what's expected?
  17. How do you tell that your HICAS inner ball joints are on the way out?
  18. I've never used the air one I had so can't compare them. That said, the wrench does all the jobs I need it for on the zed. It's variable speed so you can use it as a normal wrench and the impact part of it seems quite powerful. It's only 200nm (about 147lb/ft) max torque so not the most powerful but can't fault it yet.
  19. That's great mate. I got my impact wrench from Machine Mart. http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/cir24-24v-cordless-impact-wrench/path/impact-wrenches-and-drivers
  20. That sounds nice have you got a link?? At the moment it's my new 24v Impact Wrench that I'm loving. Just have to pick it up and go with no cable or air hose in the way.
  21. Have to agree with Funki on this one.. Complete pile of steaming poo..
  22. And I bet a finger of fudge doesn't give a kid a treat these days either! I'm 98 you know.......
  23. Yeah, I've seen that in his garage. Why not give him a call, knowing Luke he'd be happy to discuss it with you.
