Repair or replace? Advice needed
Good call mate, I will do. If it does I'll give the wire a few coats of plastidip as I know that that is fuel proof.

Would Bead blasting be able to smooth the plenum?
Its good for cleaning your nose out and CraigTT uses one to whiten his teeth...:lol::lol:

Repair or replace? Advice needed
Repaired it by soldering the wire back together and shrinking some heatshrink over it. The wire had an external plastic sleeve over the normal rubber coating but luckily I managed to trap that under the heatshrink as well. Thanks for the help folks.

Pictures of fuel tanks please
Has anyone got any pictures of the fuel tank? I'm looking for the locations of the rubber pads that are stuck on it as I need to put mine back on after spraying. I accidentally deleted the ones I took

Do you mean solder the wire back together mate? I hadn't thought of that :sailor:

I should have said that the pump has been out of the tank for about a month now as I've been refurbishing it, so all fuel vapours are gone.

Refurbishing the Stock Brakes
Try Biggred Calipers. They do seal kits for the front and rears or you can get the nissan kit from MJP in the Traders section on here. You shouldn't need new pistons, just give them a good clean. I went with stillen discs and pads, again MJP can supply these.

Repair or replace? Advice needed
While being my usual cack handed self I managed to put a brass brush on my grinder through a wire on my fuel pump. The wire I broke is the float connection (red arrows point to the connections). It looks like its a simple job to solder a new wire in place. However, as its going to be sitting in/near petrol I'm a little bit worried that I might inadvertently create a massive fuel bomb, which would be a bit of a downer  So should I just replace the wire or replace the whole pump?

killer Zs
Yes they can be twitchy in the wet or cold but you may have worn bushes, ball joints, springs etc. on the rear suspension. What set up are you running? Have you ditched Hicas?

rear caliper seal kit
Got the correct kit today and it fits fine. It does look as though its going to be too small, but is a nice snug fit.

rear caliper seal kit
UPDATE: I've just given them a call and the kit that they sent me is for a Mazda! The problem lies with the link on the Add to Cart button on their website. It's not linking to the zed kit, instead it links to a mazda one. Gave them a call and they are swapping it for me. I've also told them about the problem with their site. At the moment If you want to order a kit I would phone them instead.

rear caliper seal kit
Just got mine and it's NOT a Z32 kit. I'm just about to get on to them.

Soggy Carpet...
You'd be surprised how much water a leaky targa can let in mate. If for example your drain plug is blocked then the water pours down the A pillar and builds up very quickly on the floor pan.
