  1. Think that might be my only option mate. Unless I make a bracket up.:hammer:
  2. What have people done with the oem gearbox mounts when they fitted the Japspeed decats? Reason I ask is that they are missing the mounts completely. Being about an inch or so above them :confused1:

  10. I like Carte Noire as well. I'm not a coffee tart though and just have NATO standard.
  11. It depends on what you do mate. If you upgrade to a S2 PTU there may be some wiring involved unless you buy the loom adapters as well. S1 is just a case of unplugging the old and plugging in the new. The S1 PTU has a known problem with over heating. When this happens you get the symptoms you have mentioned. But before you change over it may be a good idea to borrow a known working one and trying that before buying a new one, just to confirm it.
  12. You could try MJP on here, he does ALL oem parts.
  13. Happy Shopper Coffee powder for the win. I'll get me coat
  14. Let the car cool down and try again, if after it's warmed up the problem starts again then I would say that it's probably your PTU (assuming it's a S1 PTU).
  15. Since I converted to manual I've been thinking of uses for the kickdown switch. What about a scrolling "get the feck out the way, I'm going into warp speed" when you put your foot down :thumbup1:
  16. ooh, how rude... I honestly don't know if it would be naff or cool though.. I guess the only way to find out would be to make them and see.
  17. I also thought of that but my naff meter pinged, so now I'm not sure??
  18. Space goes to Infinity and beyond...... :tt2:
  19. UPDATE: My knob arrived today and didn't have any extra charges, total was $79 including shipping so I'm well chuffed.. :nana2:
