Heat gun is fine mate, it's what I used. Don't forgot that the rubber is held on by 4 metal guards, you'll need to remove these as well :)

home phone with a pin number?
Don't know about a pin phone but when I was a lad my sisters were running up huge bills phoning their boyfriends and mates. My dad got fed up with it and got a payphone so they had to put 10p in for about 5mins (this was in the '80's). The phone came with a key so it could be changed to free calls. Maybe something like that would help?

What crimper do I need for this?
It's from my Racelogic TC and I'd like to get the correct crimpers for them but haven't got a clue what they are. The total lenght of the crimp is about 2cm. Any help would be great :) Cheers PS Sorry for the blurry pic....

another manual conversion thread :( :(
£1200 is a good price mate, your looking at around £600 just in parts and that is including a s/h clutch etc. It is also quite a labour intensive job; Remove your autobox and convertor, change spigot bushes, replace flywheel, install clutch and pressure plate, put gearbox on, fill gearbox with oil, punch out panel in firewall, install brake pedal, connect to vacumm (if needed). Install clutch fluid lines, fill with clutch fluid and bleed Then on top of all that you have to do the wiring and the console for the gearstick. Takes a bit of time to do that lot. EDIT: forgot about the front half of the prop as well :)

Help with customer care issue
I think you have gone out of your way to help this chap. Has he sent the "faulty" injector back to you for testing? As most warrenties would require testing of the item before being fixed or replaced. As you've said, it sounds like he has a problem else where that is causing this failure. Anybody who has dealt with you knows that you are an honest, helpful and passionate person who goes out of his way to help us owners.
