  14. I had to call BT about my ongoing infinity problems and I also asked about your problems; They can relocate the Master for you and the engineer will do this when they install infinity, they couldn't tell me how much if anything it would cost but If you ring this number 0800 500 150 and select option 2 then 2 you can then discuss this with them and they'll tell you everything you need to know. HTH
  15. Reminded me of a little bump I had in Norwich years ago while on my 50cc motorbike. Saw a couple of lovely looking birds and went straight into the back of a car! Luckily i was only doing about 10mph so i just bounced off :)
  16. I suppose they can move the master socket but they will more than likely charge you to do it. If it helps it's just the fibre modem that needs to be connected to the socket, the router then plugs into this, so you could in theory run a cable from the modem in your kitchen to the router in your front room. iirc a cat5 cable can run for 100m before it looses signal.
  17. I've just had BT Infinty installed and yes it does need to go on the master socket. The easiest way to connect your existing stuff to the router is via a "homeplug". This is plugs into a wall socket and uses the powerlines to transfer the network signals. You simply plug one in near your router and connect them together through an cat5 cable. Then plug another one in where you want to connect your ps3 etc. These are the ones I got ;http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/27078382/Belkin-F5D4078UK-1000Mbps-Powerline-HD-Adapters-Twin-Pack/Product.html?searchstring=belkin&searchsource=0&searchtype=allproducts&urlrefer=search I got mine from ebay for half that amount. You can connect as many as you want/need. HTH

  21. iirc Jeff at Zedworld can do it for you with a certificate to say it's been done. You would need to take the car to him for fitting your clocks or getting a kph to mph converter fitted.
