Mine is fine. Don't think it's ever run better since I removed the plenum, had all the injectors cleaned and replaced all the electrical connections.

Think I'd start off with something a bit heavier duty. Big polishing wheel on a vice mounted drill, followed by a flexdrive with smaller polishing heads. (and lots of cups of tea)

It's already gone up 1p a litre here this week.

Should be the same day (in theory), but a first time transfer seems to take 24 hrs longer and one from a business account takes a couple of days longer. No idea why.

Yes, the stock ECU has a second smaller board that is held in place with four screws and is attached by a white ribbon cable.

Sounds like the type Superchips use - not to say that it is one of theirs of course.

You might be able to, but I'd go and buy a couple of metres of silicon (or rubber) hose and use that.

They would give you the opportunity to remove the speedo convertor which is confusing the power steering. Basically it's giving the same amount of power assistance at 30mph that it should be giving at 30kph (eg ~22mph)
