  2. The problem is we don't control the supply of oil. We have a very meagre amount from the North Sea and generally was was too good a quality to be used for fuel. LPG will also go up in price along with petrol/diesel - Isn't it a by product ?
  3. Sounds like detonation to me. Does it happen around 3500rpm upwards ?
  4. That place, and I can't spell it either, is not very close to the pyramids. But yes, I have been a couple of times and I really like it there. Can't stand Cairo though - it's hell on Earth.
  5. Pics from Borneo. Plus you can get to see Orang Utangs, turtles, rain forest and all sorts of unusual things.
  6. I used to have one of those, a white one - very 1980's !
  7. I have heard about this being done on before on other engines and to be honest it should be absolutely fine if all the pistons are the same weight. It does seem a waste of an opportunity to not hone all the barrels and fit new rings throughout though.
  8. It's only the Jap imports that are not explicitly listed and therefore have a non-Cat test for the MoT. It is of course illegal to remove the cats from any car that was built with them - but nobody cares about that !
  9. AndyP replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
    Number 10
  10. Borneo - a little bit more adventurous !
  11. No, that's a bad plan unfortunately, especially if you ever need to claim ..... Also, technically, you would be uninsured, although your 3rd party responsibility may be covered.
  12. Tell them it's a fairlady, that may help
  13. First time I've seen a Z on the road for real in ages, didn't have time to see the plate or recognise the driver as I was southbound.
  14. The fault codes stay in place for 50 starts when using a ConZult, but going into safety boost isn't automatically considered a 'fault' -it can be normal operation, eg if it's detting.
  15. Welcome and thanks for offering to contribute towards the club.
  16. There is a red Z in Ilfracombe.
  17. Nearest club trader to you would be MJP (Mike Feeney) in Brentwood.
  18. Yep, got a compressor, just building up to spending that much on some ramps !
  19. Have you done yours ? If not we could have a bit of a joint-rustproofing day ...
  20. I didn't see the link before it was deleted, but that is normally the biggest giveaway. If you hover the mouse over it and it looks like the genuine link eg http://www.lloydstsb.com then its probably ok, if it's something like http://www.lloydstsb.comatsomewherelse.com then they are trying to hide where it really goes - don't go near it !
  21. If I gave it to you it would have been a Devin, they are available for free download.
  22. No I don't and I have never sold a JWT chip.
