The sender is on the drivers side bolted to the inner wing just in front of the bonnet hinge and is usually grey (I think). I'll have an electrical connection underneath and a single thin pipe going to the corner of the plenum - make sure that pipe isn't kinked or disconnected.

What is your ignition timing set to ?

You want something that supports an effiecent encoder. Gogo is supported by cd2wav32 and all the track naming stuff works automagically too.

cd2wav32 - it's usually to be found on a Japanese site somewhere, but I use it all the time.

Yeah, just checked and it is that one, just with a different badge on it. I seem to recollect that Maplin screwed the pricing, I was expecting to pay £199 and yet they only charged me either £149 or £99 - - don't remember which.

I have one of the Maplins units and it works well on battery or mains. Not sure whether it's still available though.

Yep, the ECU goes into a safety "get you home mode" if it thinks the AFM is knackered. Think it limits revs to 2450 or something very close.

Its certainly different and no mistake. Runs well, ticks over OK and hasn't even been mapped properly yet. Shame it's red, but hey, simple things like that can be fixed, right ? :D
