    I really, really, really want a Cerbie and in a couple of years when I've solved my current mortgage problem I may have one. However, my biggest concern is the AJP motor, always sound rough (kind of like two bikes ticking over next to each other). Perhaps chucking one of the 5.0l Griff engines in there would be a good plan.

  13. I meant compared to the stock or JWT as the Central20 and MINES are a bit more 'adventurous' in their fuel and ignition timing maps.
  14. You could probably get a fraction more advance or a hint more boost without det (if the fuel is genuinely 99ron), but not much difference overall I wouldn't have thought. I forget which map you have at the moment, but the better fuel would probably benefit the Central20 or MINES chips.

Was watching a few of these on Sky+ over the weekend and Boyd Coddingtons mob (http://www.boydcoddington.com/) were knocking up some foul old Corvette thing (http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/americanhotrod/photogalleries/illustrations/illustrations_06.html), but the motor that was put in it was a turbo'd 450 cubic inch block knocking out 1500bhp ! On the dyno it was showing over 600ftlb torque, whilst running no boost - Now that has got to be fun !
  16. Sorry, think I had a bit of a flip out last week. I reconciled all the accounts, reconciled and updated the membership list, but forgot to do the manual subscriptions (eg cheque and bank transfers) ! All fixed now (I hope)
  17. Just to be clear about this, the mythical welcome pack does not exist. You will get some stickers or a keyring when you resubscribe, but at the moment, unless MTL is in the middle of sorting something then that's it. I think this confusion arose from an initial idea which never got developed further. Also, nobody should pay 'extra' for anything. There is a new sub fee and a re-sub fee. If you were the person who transferred £27 to the bank account a couple of months back, then I'll happily refund the extra £5, as I couldn't work out who it was from at the time. Hope this helps.

  21. Sorry, didn't intend that to sound negative - we need and appreciate all the help we get from anyone and everyone. As far as I know the only artwork we have is what is used on the forum, dunno what resolution that is. I think it was put together by a mate of Mike Groves'.
  22. Several people have offered this in the past but I don't recollect anything ever materialising. What I suppose we really need is something that people can print out themselves, so we don't have to distribute them. However, I guess that we could send them out along with the stickers and keyrings, if we got ourselves organised.
  23. WD40 is rubbish, use a proper penetrating fluid like Plus Gas.
  24. Probably a bad connection on the back of the speedo somewhere. Take it out and resolder everything in sight. Also make sure that all of the metallic film connections are still good.
