  1. Actually a VPN is only half the answer, what you really need is the Quality of Service (QoS) enabled such that time senstive packets eg VoIP can be given priority over non-sensitive like HTTP etc. Obviously this doesn't get implemented over the Internet otherwise every hacker would set the flag giving their traffic priority over everyone else - result complete anarchy (kind of like now really)
  2. There will be stacks of these appearing now. Skype and a headset should do, but if you want to go wireless then you'd be better off with one of these, or a PDA on wireless, or perhaps one of the long range bluetooth headsets.
  3. Think that's just about the same for me.
  4. Isn't it msconfig ?

Will keep an eye out for it. Usually takes a few days to arrive. PM MTL with your address for a keyring.

Best thing to do would be to get the ECU remapped. There are basic 555 maps available, but setting it up on a dyno and modifying the maps should give the best results.
  8. If you are a member here then you will get a discount !
  9. Mine was £15K, but it was an import and they were a little cheaper !
  10. Yep ! No, in reality I doubt whether it makes much difference, if the server is flat out serving 50 threads, then it'll be flat out serving 250. You just get 10 slow streams, instead of 4 slow ones .....
  11. Unfortunately, whilst you may make the forum marginally better for yourself, you'll probably also make it worse for everyone else ! Still, we should have a new dedicated server soon.
  12. Went to see it last night (under duress!), all a bit silly really, effects were good though. Not a SW fan and don't think I've ever seen a full one, so probably not the best person to ask.
  13. Those of us who bought a few years ago, were paying £12-20K !
  14. Welcome ! All Paypal gives us is a name and confirmation of payment, you need to PM MTL to get your stickers.
  15. Anybody going ? I might - if its not tipping it down .... Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield.
  16. Appreciate the work, hate the colour !
  17. They're ok, but ordinary beans with a splash of chilli is just as good (and half the price)
  18. Being vaguely responsible I have a near normal sized plate, but with motorbike sized letters (to match the rear). Never had any probs with it, but you get enough probs with a car like this without advertising for it !
  19. And bloody good ones too - I busted one of my Facoms, those bolts can be tight !

  21. Water pump, or the two metal pipes that go into the head. If you end up replacing the pump, then I'd strongly recommend you do the pipes at the same time, they only cost a few quid each and being steel they tend to rust away from the inside.
  22. There's a double glazing comany somewhere in N. London called Paddy O'Doors.
  23. Gotcha PM MTL your details for a set of stickers. Welcome !
  24. I always assume that's the driver !
  25. The one that always annoys me is in the supermarket for the till, that says "10 items or less".
