  1. Cut the cord and use OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org) It's not quite as good, but it's not Microsoft, it's free and it's legal !
  2. You may find the other one was a mate of his !
  3. Just a database synch problem. Fixed manually ....
  4. I'll come over if I'm around.
  5. They tend to be done up FT and locktite'd. It unscrews anticlockwise, just like any normal thread.
  6. About 18:30, high spoiler, could have been Macca heading home from the Pod !
  7. Yep, the Buffao one works well, but the protocols to do the bridge/repeater type thing between two devices is proprietary so they seldom interoperate. So unless the DLINK one does it (I don't have one to check) then you are stuck. Point me to an online manual for your model and I'll take a look for you.
  8. Fixed manually - no idea what happenned ....
  9. The single DIN pocket is available from Nissan, and if my site is ever resurected the part number is on there ...
  10. To be totally fair I should point out that the suspension on my 300 is not standard. However, all your points taken. It's about what gives you confidence and what suits your driving style.
  11. Yep, Jap series II have them. They are switched on with the rear window heater.
  12. Cheap as chips ! Looks like it will just bolt straight onto the AFM. No need to make any ECU changes.
  13. Just bolt on - easy peasy.
  14. AndrewG was saying he wanted to get his car on the RR (Not!) Go on - you know you want to really ....
  15. On the slow stuff it certainly changed direction well and was more 'flickable' than a 300, still quite senstive to road surfaces and I wasn't very impressed with the traction control (had to turn it off - but don't tell her!). Fast sweeping bends I thought was probably the worst part, just didn't have the stability that my 300 has, that you need to give you confidence for more welly. It's a good car and no mistake, but it's not perfect.
  16. I've driven one quite a lot and I didn't find the handling that bad. Nissan have recently made some changes to wheel alignment/tracking and the model of tyre which allegedly improved the handling, but I didn't notice much difference. What I found annoying was the lack of stability at speed, it's like you have to continually correct direction at motorway speeds, my 300 is as solid as a rock and feels better the faster you go. Don't remember ever getting the 350 above 130, but it certainly didn't improve as you got faster.
  17. I was looking for a powerful car and the Z was one of the ones that met the criteria. The final decision was a toss up between a TVR and the Z and the Z won for day to day use and reliability. The TVR would have cost a stack more but that wasn't the deciding factor. I've now had it for about 8 years (I think) and have no plans of selling. I will probably still have a Cerbera sometime soon-ish, but I'll keep the Z.
  18. March 2006 and you should get automatic notification.
  19. Feb 2006 and you should get automatic notification.
  20. I can look this up on the Nissan FAST cd and tell you the exact month of manufacture - only I don't have it with me. If you PM me the details from your VIN plate I'll do it later ...
  21. We do have a number of Z31 owners, but most of them live at http://www.zclub.net This was started by people with Z32's for people with Z32's. We probably do unintentionally disuade them, but that's just because 99% of people here are Z32 owners.
  22. You did indeed re-sub then, and it expires in 2006, so not a problem.
  23. Great, happy to be corrected. The one I remember looking at I think we decided it wasn't possible to turn the pipes around. However, if you can reuse the old pipes then I can now see how that would work.
