Back firing is often caused by an airleak on the exhaust, worth double checking the fit of the pipes if it's all been moved about recently.

According to my research .... US SWB is 18.7 US Gallons which is a fraction under 71 litres. The convertable is 18.2 US Gallons, or 69 litres. SWB and 2+2 appear to have the same size tanks although we had always quoted the 2+2 as having a 72 litre tank.

Agree, it does sound kinda like a belt, but like one rubbing rather than slipping.

Problem with the clutch on the compressor ? Could just remove the belt to be certain.

That's a function of the ECU, not the chip. The chip just keeps a copy of the maps.

The question is, does it really matter ? You won't have 54Mb from your Internet connection so unless you are copying big files between the laptop and desktop then you won't need the bandwidth. And if you do need to copy a huge amount in a short period of time then you could always connect the laptop via a cable to the switch.
