    Yep just replaced my Tension rod bushes ,and osf lower arm bush, also as Si said the tension rod bushes are easy to see take a peek ;)
  4. Im pretty sure brian's is an auto , and said he was gonna enquire at the garage today , im on auto 2 , so defo worth asking the garage or finding out more info on it if poss !:)

  11. i did see a couple of add on packs for cat 1 alarms etc on e bay but dont know if they operated seperatley from the alarm unit company was called Motor Guard UK, they where rarther knowledgable (midlands way i think) hth;)

  13. thanks for clearing that up for me :) this manual i got is very confusing i think it's trying to state what u said above but in a long winded drawn out way, lol i mostly leave mine on though unless going up or down a steep rd etc. does anyone take it on and off for varying driving conditions regulary??

  15. lol, it certainly seems like its heading that way, :mac1: watched a news article the other day that there predicting a worse economic down turn then the 1940's by mid next year so the divide beetween rich and poor is gonna be a lot more substantial:(
  16. so overdrive is or isnt a form of engine braking ?? , as i got that straight out my manual !!

  18. im know mechanic but , the overdrive button merely provides engine braking and the manual states, should not be used at high speeds and should only be used when climing or desending steep inclines power and hold modes lengthen gear ratios i believe to get the most out of each gears am sure some one will be along to give you some better (technical advise ) shortly!! hth
