On mine I had to cut the leather off with a stanley knife to reveal the matal underneath and put my molegrips on that. Give that a go. PITA.

Orange are pretty good when working LOL, they disconnected me by mistake and have still not been reconnected. Also I have heard TalkTalk are OK but were shit when I tried them so it's really a bit of a gamble and what others recommend
