Boost Pressure
Out of curiosity, My set up used to be :- Stock tubs, injectors and zorst, JD chip, Apexi filter and 1.2mm boost jets running at around 13PSI. I then fitted 1.0mm boost jets and got around 15PSI but got dett at high RPM. My set up is now :- as above plus, Divorced wastegate down pipes, decat, powerflow cat back and OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch and Fly My question is, would I still get dett if I refitted the 1.0mm boost jest or do I have an underlying problem ? What ECU is this? 8 Bit? 16 Bit?
I just had a read through the link you posted :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showth...ght=jwt+ecu+bit Doesn't sound right to me, the bit where he states the the 8 bit has a daughter board and the 16 bit does not, maybe I'm wrong but I'm sure on an 8 bit (as is mine) the EPROM or chip sits on the main board, not the daughter board, but then again it's a while since I looked inside mine

I'm thinking out loud now, "Would the 'daughter board' refer to that board at the bottom? If so I guess it's an 8 bit ECU?" I'm sure the 8 bit just has a plug in EPROM (when socketed) I can't see a socket for an EPROM on that so I'd say it's 16 bit, just guessig though

I "thought" 95+ were 16 bit, the daughter board is the bit on the extra flexi cable, certainly look different to my 8 bitplug in eprom ECU, maybe AndyP or John Dixon can identify for certain

What do people think of these :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=360028076856&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=023 Been looking at these, My wheels are stock so can't go any bigger than stock brakes and only for road use with the occasional thrash down country roads ?

Having said that the UK's don't have the rear bumper reflectors and the JDM's do or am I wrong, again
-
any coming back from this ?
Your rear wheel is on the wrong side, or is it the front LOL Also just look in the driverside door pillar for tyre pressure sticker, if it's all in Jap it's a JDM
