That's rubbish from cometic, I'm using stock gaskets on mine.

I had this but mine was that my ptu was relocated under the nose cone, water would drip onto the connector, when I took it off it was full of water. Dried it out and moved it to a slightly drier location and covered the connector in silicon and it didn't happen again. I spent an age trying to find the problem initially suspecting the maf as that is the common fault.

I have the ssqv bov's I'm planning on buying or making the adaptor to turn them into recirculating valves. It's not very difficult.

I purchased the hids4u 55w kit. I bought the direct Hid loom from eBay.

My money is on a dirty/bad earth. i purchased the additional loom for my kit which takes a feed directly from the battery via a switching relay controlled by the original light connector. It supposed to eliminate any problems like this.

Bad earth, dirty headlamp, incorrectly matched kit, eg one bulb a 5000k the other a 6000k.......

Effectively the surface needs to be ground rather then just milled to achieve that finish.

There is also one in the drivers side. Can be easily deleted to stop, it's primary purpose is to pump fresh air into the exhaust

Gurgling does it sound like in the wheel arch? The Aiv pump is behind there with a filter, it can fill with water and gurgle.

i have been collecting bits to start my engine rebuild. been doing so for the last few weeks! dont worry im not collecting at a rate of 1 piston at a time the others are in an old block awaiting to be sent with the block to be bored and honed. also have nearly new oil and water pump on said block.

Oh that's as bit of a shit! Oh well at least it's in good hands, I have been looking forward to the results in this after the Hastle you have had
