boost guage
I put my gauges in the slot above my head unit (after removing BOSE thing) and found the ashtray light was convenient, it only comes on with the head lights. Any tips on installing the stater button? I want to do this but I haven't planned it properly yet.

Tyres
I've currently got Potenza's (which are good) but I used to run F1's on my 200SX, they stuck like sh1t to a blanket, wet or dry. Both are good I reckon. Don't save money on tyres, it is a false economy (sorry, I sound like my mum but it is true).

Anyone Know this Z?
I'm showing my ignorance here but it has cruise control and a manual box. Is that std? If not is it possible to retrofit to a manual car without CC (a 93 K JDM for example, don't know if it is series 1 or 2).

Why o Why o Why
I didn't know that, those Japs think of everything. The fact the steering was lighter must be a clue as surely the PAS pump comes off the same accessory drive as the A/C? What signals the AC to switch off, the TPS or is it boost related (i.e ECU sees over X bar switches off AC)?

dark zed
Hello Russ, that was me. Thanks for the wave. It should be a blue zed but it needs a wash, I've been moving house so the car has been neglected.

Why o Why o Why
Could be the air con pump, try pressing the ECON button with the heating on and see if this makes it better.

Daily driver?
I use mine daily, 15 miles each way down the A127 so I average about 15MPH and 19MPG! The way I look at it is if I got 30MPG I would only spend £30 rather then £45 per week on juice but I'd rather pay the £3 per day to do it in my Z then a 2L Repmobile.

import stories/tips
I use my Jap TT every day and so far it's been fine. Bit heavy on the juice though, but then if that worries you I belive diesel cars are very economical ;) Good luck with it mate, if you go for a manual get someone to check the clutch. I drove a few Jap cars with upgraded clutchs and they are a pain in the backside around town and some are really rough if your doing hill starts etc - bearing in mind its for every day.

You're right Pat, I think you can still get Lambo tractors.

Red one up the old A130 today
Thanks for the wave (I was in a std Blue import), I missed it but the misses saw. I saw you dissappear up the road in the wing mirror. Looks like a nice job you've had done on the rear, different lights?

Buying 300 advice please!
Be patient and stick to the spec you want, one will turn up. Mine took months to find, glad I waited though, plenty of dogs out there. Also, Nissans wear their age well. I've only even owned 10+ yr old Nissans and they've never let me down and at the end of their life depreciation is tiny. Buy a new Cav or Mondeo (or any Citroen, or any new car in fact)and watch your money dissapear.

Shall I propose
Nice one, congratulations. How was Dammy? I was there in Jan. I hadn't been for years and i forgot how dirty it was (both senses of the word). Cool place though, loads to do, even the Misses liked it and niether of us smoke, well, I do a bit.

Typical speed camera abuse..........
Just a wrong! I've got the old road angel and it has saved my licence on more then a few occasions. As stated it doesn't pick up moibile camera's but they are usually in town and with the traffic these days (in Essex at least) it's bloody difficult to speed in town (and you shouldn't :slap: ).

Sivler leaving Southend..
Sivler, sort of like silver but wrong. Is the blue one a std looking K reg import, if so it is me. Wave harder. I don't usually see any Z's on the way home to Sunny Southend.

Goodwood Festival of speed
I'm going for the whole weekend but camping away from the site. If you see a bloke in white panama that's me.

How to use a Bus!
I don't belive this, do they train peopel in patronising studies to produce this stuff?? The best bit is "Now you've arrived at your destination without the worry of having to find a parking space or change for the meter - all you have to do is enjoy your day" deaf 'casue of the noise and smelling like a toilet, and don't buy anything 'cause you'll have to carry it home!

Shall I propose
Glad you took it in good humour, I've been force fed (kind of) fizzy white wine. It's just like Stella, I've beaten the Misses to a pulp tonight and killed the cat.

Shall I propose
Sorry SMW1, but bo11ox. If you've been with her for 8 years that says something. My brother just asked his bird after 7 years and I'm sure he had doubts. My other brother only asked after he saw her (married) initials on a car reg, don't ask. I've been with my girl for 5 years and I know we will get married and I'll ask her soon. Doesn't stop me wondering what if. Go for it, if it all goes t1t5 then Tesco's do a quicky devorce kit for £7.50.

Sivler leaving Southend..

Job interview: advice would be great
Glad to see you appreciate the arts, didn't realise he painted bikes. Seriously though, you might have done OK, it is hard to tell straight out of interview how well it went, you only ever remember the worst bits. Either way, I'm sure more oportunities will present themselves.

Job interview: advice would be great
I'm not a huge fan of Evo either, again they tow the corporate line. I like mags to buck the trend, go against the grain. We get bombarded by so much corporate BS these days it's nice to loose yourself in a mag for half and hour and imagine others think the same way, and that someone is organised enough to do something about it, or at least write about it. Club does it for me ;)

americans what do you think of 'em?
It's like the French, lovely country, shame about the population. Also it depends upon weather you're talking about the people as individuals or as a collective. Most sceptics i deal with are OK, so are the French I deal with. I still don't like the French (as a whole) and I won't be queueing up in an American airport begging to get in either. I bet our image abroad was better 10 years ago, if I'm not mistaken we were admired by our current 'foes' for our restraint with foreign policy. Not now we behave abroad with all of the tact and diplomicy of a tonne of horse sh1t. Not only our government, we holiday in southern Europe and wreck the place. Whinge whinge, moan moan ;)
