i have a uk TT i have just purchased a turbo timer and wiring harness the harness wont fit into my ignition swich. I am trying to plug it in onto the ignition barrel, is this right? or do i have to follow the wires right back? cannot understant cos chris at greddy says theres never been a problem with fitament before?

fitted turbo timer above clock in pocket (greddy fat) handbrake cable is only 1 wire speedo cable not started doing that yet wiring harness (looks same as your) dont fit :cry: on the 3 male spades no probs on the 2 male spades they are offset wont go onto ignition didnt have the time or bottle to solder straight to wires as looks very akward but got paid for doing it as i should have been working ;) wired up and when i get the right harness it will b a quick job to compleat nothing ever goes as planned............ p.s. mines a uk car hope thats not going to turn out to be a big problem!

I dont know where to locate the actual timer?? where u gonna mount yours?? thought about under stereo but i wanted to put some gauges there eventually :confused: works going through a slow patch at moment so im gonna take car in tonight (all going well)

ive just woken up and my turbo timer has arrived i'm in the same boadt as u today m8 :rofl: just done a search but too many to go through (i lasted 10 pages) off to the garage now..............

fill it up with optimax £45 get about 230miles about 70%urban 25%motorway 5%on idle in garage ;) needle dosent bottom out before refill stock for now but i hardly use the boost!!

hope mine looks as good as that when i get a respray this summer its already had a respray before i got it and whoever did it did'nt do a very good job. looks like a funny kind of nicotine stained white where as your white looks bright n clean good job :)

i recall seeing this one if i can remember its red the 900hp engine isnt under the bonnet the bonnets removed and the engine is a least 6" higher than the wings :o i also think there was a price tag on the conversion?? i had a quick look but unable to give u the link :(

i have a uk due to insurance 26 years old 3 years NCB car garaged import £1800 u.k. ended up paying £695 TPFT i valued the car at £4500 to avioid paying fully comp go for it m8 you wont be dissapointed!

took off balance bar today to replace spark plugs and noticed small pool of oil in the plenum on both sides (just more than a table spoon full). Should i panic or is this normal?. I am about to (try) to replace the pcv hoses tomorrow but will the oil eventually clear?

picked up parts yesterday £50.50 V.A.T. £13.74 Parcel Force £10 Admin my problem was ive been waiting for 3weeks as they didnt have all the parts in stock. The day after I ordered some splash guards (mud flaps) and got told i couldnt put it on top of my previous order. Thats where the extra unexpected cost was from, only found out when i opened the package with em in still saved a small fortune in the end though ;) will recommend and use again

Got an JWT single pop charger and tried fitting today having some difficulty due to its size (very tight fit) logged on and did a search and found a thread going back to august 2001 can somebody please put me straight :confused: is there some sort of aftermarket splash guards for these type of filters??? (or whats recommended??) where do i (if anywhere) attach the screw at the top middle of the cone?? any help would be appreciated cheers lads :D 1993 UK CAR

My Parts from the US came today from Courtsey. I have been charged £74 for import duty I have never heard anyone mention this before? Can this b right as the parts ammounted to $375.19 (abount £210) shipping costs $67.75 (£37.50) seems a little high to me £254 charged to my credit card and then this bill of £74 its more than a quater to pay again enyone else had this??

Keep tryin the auto trader website daily on a national search this is the only way m8 it does work as i sold my last car to someone in a different region in about half an-hour after their site was updated. i had to get a uk one though as insurance on a jap is a no-no for me (£2000) got a UK one insured for £695 (makes more sense) take all the advise you can off these lads though (i'm only a newbi) :D
