  4. I would consider visiting Bob from Safe and Sound if he's still around. I recently removed a Toad alarm from a car I'm selling and couldn't believe the way an approved fitter installed tha alarm, to join a wire they just cut some of the sheathing and wrapped the new wire around it, then some black tape :( It's shocking that you pay to have an "approved" fitter and they make a mess.
  5. lol, Stella, not really much I can say to that! :D
  6. Anyone have any suggestion on what to use to polish light scratches out of black paint and restore any faded stuff too? Cheers Vijay
  7. LMFAO, I've got to laugh or I'd cry but Chris, you really have too much time on your hands!! lol And I think I must have the longest respray in history, reckon it'll be 2 years before I'm back on the road..........................
  8. I thought that too but it hasn't left any marks at all that weren't there before and they'd show up on a black car wouldn't they?
  9. Has anyone ever seen this stuff from one of the shopping channels? Well I bought some ages ago to try and did today on my black 4x4 and have to say I'm really impressed. You spray it on and wipe with a microfibre cloth, you then wipe it over with another microfibre cloth and it's leaves a nice wax shine. All this without cleaning the car which I can assure you, my 4x4 was quite dirty. Really impressed!!!! Vijay

  19. While we're on the subject, is it worth cutting off the sill/panels that are prone to rust from the car I'm scrapping? Mine's a UK car and there are no signs of rust on the sills at present but I'm thinking hopefully long term. Vijay
