  2. Yeah but I don't think they're available anymore as pieces as Sonic006 found out :(
  3. I think I'm right in saying yes you can but you'll just loose the refridgent inside so will need it regassing again. Vijay
  4. Hi, Just wondered if it's worth keeping the rear sills for a car I'm breaking? Vijay
  5. I didn't think Japs were heated at all, not series 1 or 2
  6. on both Jap and UK or just UK? Am I right in saying UK series 1 were just electric but series 2 were heated as well?
  7. Hi, I'm trying to sort out some wing mirrors for someone and have found 3 different types of connectors, 3,5 and 7 wires to 3 different types of connector block. I thought the only difference would be UK/Jap but does anyone know for sure what's what? Vijay
  8. Seems very cheap, I assume that didn't include door/boot shuts?
  9. lucky it was on the car I'm breaking so no major loss, just a lesson learnt :)
  10. well I got it out......................in about 1000 pieces!!! lol My advice is leave them alone, makes such a mess getting them out once they've broken, shards of glass everywhere and some nice slices in my fingers :(
  11. I've got some of that wire so I'll try that.
  12. Hi, Anyone managed to remove their windscreen without the use of a brick? I've bought one of these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRAPER-BONDED-WINDSCREEN-REMOVAL-TOOL-35098_W0QQitemZ190171694643QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item190171694643&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 but it's no where near sharp enough to get through the sealant :( Vijay

  15. I'll do it tomorrow :)
  16. Can take some tomorrow if that's not too late? The front end is completely stripped back down to the chassis so the part your talking about is totally clear ;) Vijay

Hi Craig, Try screwing the 2 bonnet stops on either side out, that should stop the bonnet squeaking, common problem :)
  18. Hello bud, Nice to hear from you :) Thanks for the post and I'll make sure I have a trolley jack under it ; Vijay

as I said earlier, it could be as simple as that!! My car was cutting out and turned out to be a dirty CAS connector. It's a good idea to give all the connectors a clea up now and again :)
  22. Old Zed is totally right, the bit I'm talking about (and you probably are too) is the part that the radiator and air con rad sit above, hence the rust ;) that's welded in. The crossmember is bang smack under the engine. Vijay
  23. I've got to change mine too, hoping the one off the NA I'm breaking is in good nick. Might be worth you contacting a breaker for a good one ;)
  24. And where about's in London are you going to? Just in case you need a shipping address to collect from ;)
