  1. Cobalt drills, Toolstation do a set nice and cheap ;)
  2. and a severe lack of basic morals :(
  3. I hope you get your money back, I really do. But isn't that what a deposit is? If you failed to pay when you said you will, you forfeit the deposit :(
  4. no disrespect to anyone but good bodyshops are a rare thing - trust me I know!!!! lol
  5. good point, don't think any bodyshop would be happy if they gave you a price for a job and then you turned up and expected a bad fitting kit to be fitted for the same price.........
  6. not being funny, but they should lock up the parents too!!! My friend is a deputy head in a primary school and last week got kicked and bitten by a 7 year old boy. When she rang the Mum, the Mum asked what she did to make her chilld do that to her :wack: Now this kid is 7 and would do that to an adult, what is gonna be like where he's older :(
  7. What's the link? I've never bought one from Ebay but have read posts about bad fitments of fibreglass products from Ebay suppliers. If they're cheap, there's probably a good reason :( Just my opinion, but obviosuly depending what you're after, someone like Car.Mad or Luke for fibreglass.
  8. I've always rinsed the car before washing but obviously water just runs off so doesn't soak dried on dirt, that's why I'm looking at snow foams ;)
  9. thanks guys. I have a foam bottle attachment for my pressure washer so will give that a try :)
  10. Does anyone use any sort of prewash when washing your cars? Is there a foam that is applied before you wash it? Vijay
  11. just found the thread - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=134546&highlight=rev I'm assuming as already said, keep the revs up to simulate driving?
  12. tried one of those too but still found drops on the windscreen :( At the moment I have one of those plastic box things, 5 x 6" silica bags on the dash and I've just ordered 2 x long demudifier bags to sit between the dash and the screen as I'm worried about drops running behind the dash :(
  13. I'd be more than happy to gently rev it to simulate driving. Wish I had a nice garage to be able to leave a window open :(
  14. I remember reading posts where people said it was bad to let a car warm up and idle while stationary. The problem I have is my Z is not on the road yet and won't be before this winter. I had bad condensation last year and want to be able to get the heaters going inside the car but obviously have to let the engine run. What damage does it do if left to idle? Thanks Vijay
  15. sad thing is it goes to court and a judge with no touch of the reality of real life will slap them on the wrists and send them on their way :(
  16. insurance has always baffled me. I've got a 1996 Mitsi Challenger (shogun Sport) and it costs me over £600 FC. Insurance companies have always told me it's my postcode but a neighbour has just bought a Kia 4x4 at £25k, costs him just over £300 with Aviva. I rang them up and they want £1100 for mine :( My neighbour has 3 points on his license too so it make absolutely no sense to me :(
  17. For anyone who doesn't know me, I'm half Italian and half Mautitian but born in the UK. I consider myself Bristish and very proud of that fact. I love England but hate that it no longer has a backone and anyone can come here and piss on it. Makes my blood boil the way this country is now. I'm not saying that things were right when my Mum & Dad came over here but the difference is they came to the UK with respect and didn't try and make this country like the lands they came from. Why the hell does this country let people change it. If you want to live like you did where you came from, go back. I honestly wish this country would get it's identity back. I'm sorry if that's offensive to anyone. I'm not racist at all, just hate seeing this country accepting shit from foriegn lands and letting people get away with it for fear of being branded racists!!!
  18. Totally agree with what's been said, your kids are in a better place. Sad that your ex would put this bloke first but that's a reflection on her :( Keep your chin up mate, you're doing the best for your kids in being a good dad and they'll know that :)
  19. Totally impressed mate, can't believe this is all self taught
  20. get yourself an ActiFry, makes lovely chips using light olive oil ;)
  21. either drill out or use a Dremel to cut a slot and use a flat screwdriver. Another way I'm sure I read somewhere is to weld a bolt to the security bolts to turn them
  22. Don't think so, your screen name doesn't ring a bell at all mate :(
  23. Nope, mine was the one which had TWO bad resprays before it got sorted! lo
  24. would love to see it next time you're in Cricklewood, maybe it'll inspire me to get mine back on the road ;)
