I got a chip on the screen of my 4X4 and booked it into National windscreens believing it was a free repair through my insurace. I thought I'd double check and was told Elephant charge £25 per chip :O I saw on Ebay that you can buy DIY kits for under a tenner and wondered has anyone used a DIY kit and did it work well? Not sure you're right on that Eggs, the 2.5's are known for the head gasket but the 2.8 4M40's are pretty bullet proof is serviced properly ;) Plenty of info here :) http://www.pocuk.com/

A Mitsi Challenger/Shogun sport, so not the biggest of 4x4's. I'm not after big sounds and I'm not doing much else apart from upgraded speakers, just after a nice base line :)

Why not contact DVLA too as they will obviousty have the details of who tryied to register it. They may not give you the information unless the Police have been involved but I would imagine it's worth a call ;) Vijay

Hi, Does anyone know of a courier that can send a dashboard? The usual ones ask for the dimentions and weight and then when I go to book it, they say it's too heavy because of "volumetric" weight :( Cheers Vijay

So you wanted it with stiching across the main part of the dash, where it curves? Did they ever mention lifting at all?

Just thought, who suggested doing the dash in pieces with stitching, was that how you wanted it or how that decided to do it? I'm jusy really worried about lifting in the heat (when when day we have a summer)
